This is my child's first year and it's been absolutely wonderful she is learning so much coming in just knowing the minimum. She absolutely loves going to school and gets very excited for each day. Her teachers are beyond wonderful and have really made this transition from home to school so easy and smooth for all of us.

We LOVE LMES. The administration and teachers are truly the best. They love their students and work so hard to make sure they have the knowledge and tools to succeed in their education journey.

Our teacher never had a clue what happened when an issue arose in the class and our child was being bullied and then was scolded by the teacher. The communication about what was being taught was minimal and the teacher missed way too many instructional days! The teacher was either unable to unwilling to accomadate children who are more advanced and thought shoving an ipad in their face was a solution. Most of the time she did not even check the work for accuracy, just for completion. We have removed our child from this school and after speaking to other parenta about their experiences here we are glad we did!

This school is excellent. The district as a whole is wonderful, but LME has been nothing short of amazing. I really get a kick that the administration KNOWS their students, parents, and even siblings to young to attend! They really do care about the success of the children and are very proactive with ensuring that if your student needs extra help, that they are there.

I picked LMES for my 2 grandson's 6 years ago, as a mature and experienced parent, a very good school was very important to their future. I did my homework and LMES is just that a VERY GOOD SCHOOL, everyone knows everyone, everyone is treated fair, and with respect in a close family friendly atmosphere. The Teachers and Administration are Top Notch, and really care about the Children, and they welcome parental involvement, and input. I'm serving on the schools SIC Board, and also volunteer often, a school is really what you make of it. LMES is making tomorrows Leaders of our children, by practicing the 7 Habits of Successful People, and I wouldn't send my children anywhere else. The Rating doesn't reflex that out of the 10 reviews there was only 2 somewhat negative (if you want to call being structured a negative) out of 8 positive. LMES gets all 5 Stars in every category, they are by far the Top School in the State.

We chose this school specifically when we moved to SC...we wanted a home in the Lexington 1 School district, and in particular, Lake Murray Elementary (it was either LMES or Midway at the top of our list). We have not been disappointed at all with LMES. The administration is wonderful, very hands-on and interested in the education of its students. They offer a lot for the kids, and they use positive means of reinforcement to keep the kids in line. Focus is on EDUCATION first. It was with great trepidation that we discovered we would be rezoned for a new school being built. But it has been a blessing because part of the administration and many of the teachers at LMES have moved on to Rocky Creek Elementary School. We can be assured of the strong continuing commitment to excellence and education at our new RCES!

It's been very good up until this year. I have had the opportunity to attend many of the school functions and frankly the administration has gone overboard with the way they keep the kids 'focused' - playing some bizarre music during meals to control when they talk, using 'speaking hands' to keep them in line, taking away their whopping 15 minutes of play time per 7 hours for some pretty silly stuff. It's still way too overcrowded for its size and the communication with parents is poor. My wife and I are disappointed enough in this year's experience to move them to another school so they can be kids again instead of robots.

I love the school, teachers are great, I do not have a problem with the administration really there are a 1 or 2 ladies in the office that are not that nice and seem to have a problem when you are asking them a question or needing help. But over all I love LMES!!!
