Like all schools, challenges during Covid, but administration and staff very responsive. Small classes, teachers and staff know kids well. Great sports and music programs. Biggest drawback is lack of diversity. School response to intolerance is improving.

they focus a lot more on athletic stuff and sports than academics and the health of the kids.

Teachers and administrators have recently been very responsive to questions and comments. I do feel some teachers are better than others but you will get that in almost any school. The most effective way to ensure your child's best outcome is to stay involved and Lansing encourages parent involvement.

Lansing is an amazing school!!! The education is top notch. There is a great deal of economic diversity in Lansing which is great. Wealthier families are drawn to the great school system. This is good for all. Wealthier families mean more money to fund great education
