Its fun at school to learn subjects that haven't been interesting in the past, all the teachers and staff are very supportive and make you feel very safe.

I love Dewitt the principals are do sweet and they don't discriminate against anyone, they have a pride parade at the end of each year showing how Much they care. There are wonderful communities inside of Dewitt. Class can be boring sometimes but it is in every school, the teachers try their best to make it fun and exciting I'm going into 7th grade and I'm really excited. You make tons of friends at Dewitt and I think I speak for everyone when I say it's wonderful having 45 minutes of lunch.

They don't deal with drugs and bullying very well, although we do win competitions

I would highly NOT recommend this school. Over all it is OK, but there are major issues with it.1. The principals and dean do nothing is someone does something bad. If some one vandalizes the bathroom the principal tells them they did something wrong, gives them some candy, and then sends them back to class. It is like they are scared to deal with any thing2. There is so much foul language. Nobody does anything about it. If a student uses this language to a teacher they don't usually get in trouble. 3. Teachers are great, but not so much the people running (the school principals and deans) There is a horrible communication problem from staff to parents. Principals are bad role models, they don't want students to be on their phones yet they are always on theirs (especially a school events such as concerts.)

This School Is Actually Garbage I Would Rather Watch Ice Melt In Antarctica During The Winter Time Then Go Here Again. Also The Administration Doesn't Do Anything They Say Their Gonna Do.

Overall, my child has had a very good experience at DeWitt Middle School. He feels safe and he knows who to talk to when he has an issue.

I am a community member just trying to tell the truth about schools, This school might not be that good at math as boynton, But other than that this school is great.

Working families are not valued in Ithaca, the schools expects parents to be available and participate in the school day consistently. Lasts buses and showers aren't offered for sports activities. When kids are bullied, teachers are unaware. Kathy Troy is wonderful about keeping parents updated!

I have been to this school for almost 2 school years and it has been awesome. Im very proud my school has no bullying. Everyone is really nice and friendly, and its VERY easy to make friends here
