If I could give a zero I would.in my opinion this school has turned into a terrible area for kids. Girls are.more stuck up and very nasty attitudes among them. Teachers don't listen to concerns that students have. My child attended here and her math class had some :very very loud kids in the classroom with her, she told the teacher several times that she could not focus....needless to say nothing was done. My daughter couldn't even hear what the teacher was saying and missed several lessons in class. The boys are obnoxious, my daughter came home several times telling me that boys are making rude comments about private areas on girls and asking girls to perform sex acts. I would never send my child to this school again. The vaping amoung students is ridiculous and I also found put that several girls made a website to bash other girls in the school. This school needs change and kids need to learn manners.

I want to say it's a great school but I have my opinions. If the staff here doesn't know you or your family or members of your family they tend not to care about bullying or other issues with your students. Too much drama and gossip here between students. They are too young for that. Not much is done about issues that arise and they tend to focus on kids they know better. New students beware because if the staff doesn't know your parents really good then dont try to get help with a problem with other students because they wont fix it. Students are talked down to by staff and act as if they dont like your student they are more involved with who they know. I love to support the schools my child attend but this school has taken the cake for me. They dont inform you about actions of other children picking your child and they definitely dont inform you when your child is in the office and theres problems. I found out months after there were issues going on with my children. I was never informed about any of it until I went to the school about things that I felt were concerning.

I can't praise Buford Middle enough. My grandson is learning SO much and enjoys all his teachers who seem very dedicated.

the school has a very good location and art program. the bad part it my son had a learning disability in ela and the teacher failed him. but yet he was in math in history good i wish to see better programs for learning disability kids here.
