The Principal and Vice Principal go above and beyond for their students. They are always trying to make things better and to ensure that a child is getting the best education.

My children completed their first year at Prospect Elementary this year after attending one of the highest rated schools in Union County the previous years. Prospect is, hands down, a superior school. My children are challenged and thriving. They have continued to reach or exceed end of grade goals. In addition to academics, the school does an excellent job building character. The teachers and staff make each child feel important and bestow on them a sense of responsibility by assigning special "jobs" that highlight their individual strengths. After just one year, my children have become more confident and blossomed. My only regret is my oldest daughter will have only one more year at Prospect before middle school, but I know she will be well-prepared when it is time for her to move forward.

Incredible school with amazing teachers and staff! My children love going to school every morning and the bus ride is just as much fun for them. It is apparent the children who attend this school are right with nature, use their manners and have been raised to help themselves and others; these traits are rare in todays world. The atmosphere of Prospect is unlike the other schools or ‘academy’s’ around town, the focus is on the students, not the persona. The children are seen, heard, known by all staff and treated with respect. Each child has their own gifts and talents, Prospect Elementary recognizes this and allows and encourages the student to be themselves. With that kind of support the students are open to learn the curriculum, creating little masters of their academics and gifts. My children and I love this school. We love the teachers, principal and staff, especially the lady upfront :)

Although I was expecting this school to be pretty good, because everything that I looked up suggested it was a descent school, I have been extremely disappointed in lack of concern and commitment my child's teacher, as well as the principle, has shown toward my child's education. The principle told me, when I expressed my concerns to her, that her major focus was on EOG scores. What happened to educators who seek to enhance children's education?

Best teachers in the world. :) Our Granddaughter will have so many wonderful memories of Prospect Elementary. We are blessed.
