Awful experience. Not supportive us students needing additional assistance. No support given what so ever. This school doesn't give your child a fighting chance! Very UNGODLY!

My grandson started at Heights Christian as a preschooler and it was all great, always great teachers and issues involving discipline were always dealt with strictly and in a timely manner. Things certainly changed when Mrs Neal became the principal at the elementary school. Then she went to the junior high. We recently pulled him out of HCJH because of a kid that's been a troublemaker for years has been bullying him and always gets away with it. One of his last pranks was to tell his 7th grade classmates that my grandson was gay. As usual all the kid had to do was apologize. What happened to the days of a warning, next time suspension, and then expulsion? I thought I was paying for a Christian school.

This school was once a blue ribbon school but now no longer holds that title or quality. Since the new principal, there have been so many problems that have either gone unsolved or ignored due to a lack of leadership. Most of the positive reviews written about the school are fake and written by staff members or families who got special discounts on tuition for writing such fantastic reviews. Fact is there is nothing fantastic anymore of this school and more and more families are leaving due to the mediocre academics which is similar to what you'd find at a public school. There is also nothing available for students who are gifted and talented. No real music class or music history or theory taught. Just a recorder year after year which tires a lot of students out. Most of all, if children bully one another, the principal does nothing but brush it under the rug, pray for you, and expect you to forget about it like she does. Well, some kids got hurt here and parents left now holding the school liable legally for the lack of what the principal has done. So no, do not send your child here. A charter school, upscale public school, or different private school is a better choice than here.

With the year just getting underway we have had issues with our daughter and her new 6th grade teacher. He attempts to be funny but has left my daughter sobbing on a few occasions over the last 3 weeks. This is not what I pay a high tuition for.

Both of my kids attend the Heights. I feel very thankful that my kids are able to attend such a safe and school. They are both pushed academically and have risen to the challenges set forth by their teachers and curriculum.
