Centauri says goodbye to the 2014 Colorado National Principal of the Year. However, another good administrator fills the position.

A or B+ rating with 68% free or reduced student population. Rated 7th in Colorado by having the greatest difference between the "expected" ACT scores and the ACT scores they get (data by Aspen Foundation/Roaring Fork Asst. Supt.). Principal was a finalist for principal of the year in 2013 and is the Colorado Principal of the Year for 2014-15. Kids are really good kids and teachers bust their tail for kids. Sports are really competitive and they have a whole bunch of activities and clubs that give kids some really neat experiences. Have another Boettcher scholar winner this year and a 98% graduation rate for the last 8 years.

Centauri is a great high school and does more with less than any high school around. Look at the scores it receives despite having the demographics it has. Proof is in the data. Principal is awesome.

Even though they won't get the credit they deserve, CHS is one great school. From leadership to kids, Centauri has great things going on.
