This school isn't that bad the students have improved their attitude since 6th grade. We're more of a fine arts school our band hall has a lot of trophies and has gotten 1 in UIL multiple years in a row, while our theater department has won sweepstakes two years in a row and also received awards for multiple students. Choir also has a lot of awards while also getting a number 1 ranking in UIL. Our mariachi has gotten a number 1 ranking too. While we're not the greatest at sports (except soccer) we still try our best to be great at it. The students are working very hard to improve their academic skills.

The school is not that horrible the students are nice if your nice to them. The teachers are extremely nice, they help motivate students and encourage them to work hard and to improve their test scores. Their is one admin that does not belong in that position, they do not treat students with fairness and kindness.

Okay so first of all, this school is amazing, even though there is a few fights here and there, everyone is supportive and help each other out, the most fights in this school was last year, when i was in 6th grade, it was MY grade that caused all the trouble, but now we're in 7th grade, people have matured and stopped fighting due to them being in sports, and not wanted to be kicked out, or the consequences. I would totally recommend this school, even though our academics and grades are low, we have gotten better and slowly, but surely have better test grades than last year.

Im a student here and its so bad, they make your kids wear a terrible unifrom, their teaching methods are very bad. Some of the 6th grade teachers are nice and so are the male coaches, but thats about it. I kid you not there were 5 fights in just 1 week. Oh and we are terrible at every sport except for soccer. If you cherish your child's well-being, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE, GO TO WALLACE!!!

People want to blame teachers and administrators, but the fact of the matter is horrible parents send undisciplined and disrespectful kids to this school. The lazy, excuse making mentality of the kids comes from the HOME. These lazy parents don’t hold their children accountable. They get in trouble, fail classes, and still show up to school with an iPhone. What do you expect?

Horrible school. Other than the band, art, and a math teacher, teachers are lacking. I've had two children attend this school. It seems like many students here were not raised to have respect towards others. Wish I had bought a house elsewhere.

Terrible not a good school at all

I had a friend that went there and she said it was terrible. She told me that the teachers yelled at her for no reason. Chapa is a better middle school than this. Students improve every year there. The band program is better than this school and any other school in the Kyle area. Don't send your children here.

Simon is a truly TERRIBLE school! The students are very disrespectful, and rude. The teacher and admin do nothing about troublesome students, and are rude to parents. The band progarm is the WORST in the county by far, no improvement comes from the students. Would NEVER recommend the school to anyone EVER!
