We LOVE Bell. My kids have had wonderfully engaged teachers and the guidance counselor has helped us through some really challenging periods. Even through the pandemic, we felt connected and seen and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff and PTO work together to bring engaging opportunities to the school and make this time for our children very memorable. I will be sad when we move on to middle school and have to leave our Bell family!

I am a graduate, teacher, and parent of this district and this specific elementary school. I would not want to teach or send my child anywhere else. The environment is welcoming, the opportunities for students are wonderful, and the academic expectations to push students to do their best, while giving them the tools to do so is like no other school!

Floyd L Bell Elementary is a terrific school! So many wonderful teachers, programs, sports and extracurricular activities for the kids. Bell also has a very involved PTO who plan great family events. We feel so fortunate to have our kids attending Bell and our kids love it!

Excellent school! I have two daughters that have attended and they absolutely love it! Great programs, learning opportunities, and support for students. Also, great leadership from the principal in this school. I highly recommend Bell Elementary!

Bell Elementary has it ALL - high achieving academics, caring teachers, extra-curriculars, and a great social-emotional program to bring it full circle. My daughter just finished 4th grade and I couldn't say more positive things about her interactions with teachers at Bell. I would like to add that the new principal - Mrs. Strick - is incredible with the students. My daughter instantly felt welcomed by her and Mrs. Strick has gone out of her way to make sure she made connections with the students right away. She is approachable and very contentious of doing what is right for children. I had a sensitive matter to bring to her and she handle it with tact. Several teachers have shared how supportive Mrs. Strick is while upholding high expectations of their teaching. I am sad my daughter will only have two years with Mrs. Strick! I am thankful for such a great experience at Bell!

In previous years I would rate this school a four out of five. Current I would rate them 1/5. It’s a shame that what was once a wonderful school has turned into a nightmare due to the lack of leadership from the principal. Appropriate behavior or discipline is no longer a common ground. Intimidation and harassment are absolutely terrible with this principal. I have heard from several teachers that it’s not only toward the students but also the staff. A hostile environment is not comfortable to anyone. I know another parent who has had complaints regarding injuries and how the actions taken were not remotely appropriate. It’s a shame.

Great school. No issues with bulling, staff is excellent. We will miss the staff next year. Could not recommend a better learning school!!
