My child attends this school and we have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff. They have been very invested in my son's education and have worked with him to get an education that matches his level of understanding in each subject. Teachers are communicative and helpful with answering questions. The principal has always been responsive to questions in a timely and polite fashion.

This school was good until the new principal took it over HE IS A HORRIBLE PRINCIPAL WHO PROTECTS THE BULLIES IN THE SCHOOL AND NOT THE KIDS WHO THERE BULLYING THE KID'S LEARN NOTHING BUT DRAMA BULLYING AND IT'S LIKE A PRISON MORE THAN SCHOOL AND THE TEACHERS ARE DISRESPECTFUL AND VERBALLY PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY ABUSIVE TO SOME OF THE KIDS THE ONES WHO WANT TO LEARN THERE'S KID'S WHO GET PUNCHED IN THE FACE BY OTHER KIDS BULLYING AND THE TEACHERS AND PRINCIPAL DOES NOTHING HE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED FOR SAFETY REASONS AFTER MS THOMAS WHO WAS AMAZING THIS SCHOOL WENT DOWN HILL AND IT STARTS WITH WHO IS RUNNING IT...

All my children and myself attended Ben Franklin but now the new principal runs this school like a warden of a prison. Parents are not encouraged to visit children throughout daySo drop ins are out of the question and even pre k and kindergarteners are sent to the principals office to endure physical punishment if it is deemed fit by her.Children are forced to marshmallow clap and principal is allowed to watch over primary children and take them on private walks when they have a "meltdown" or crumple kindergarteners art work in the presents of other educators.This principal Suzanne J Thomas is to old and obviously has reached her breaking point in her educational career. She should NEVER be around children let alone our youngest most impressionable minds.
