- Submitted by other on March 23, 2010I am a parent of 3 former students and a grandparent of 4 current students in the Kingston Public Schools. I have been appalled for many years at the way certain children are treated by the teachers and principles. I have had one child and one grandchild who have suffered emotionally at this school. We came from a larger city and my son was making good grades. His teachers all loved him. Shortly after moving him to Kingston, his grades declined to failing and he became extremely depressed. The staff's personal assessment of him was totally opposite of his 2 previous schools. Now I have a grandchild there who is having problems and I find the school's treatment of him to be sad and appalling!
