Not a great school, not terrible though, my daughter likes it a lot but it blows my mind how like little she is being taught there.

My children have had fabulous teachers at Lancaster Middle School. They genuinely care and encourage children to do their best. In addition, the administration goes above and beyond to provide supportive, positive, and motivating experiences for the students and staff. I sincerely appreciate the efforts of everyone involved at LMS. All of the wonderful happenings at the school do not always get the publicity, but I am proud to send my children there!

This school seems to get worse with every passing year. Teachers seem to love the FAR room, which by the way is a ridiculous idea. Taking students from class for a 15 "time out" for being disruptive. Seems to me that this causes more of a problem since they are disrupting class when they leave for the FAR room and when they come back, not to mention that they have missed out on valuable learning time in class. Teachers shouldn't be so quick to send the student for a "time out" for something as simple as shouting out an answer to a question he/she asked(which was referred to as "speaking out" on my child's paper). This school is a joke, I am currently looking into other options for my child.
