I am writing this review as an alumnus of the school. I would not recommend that anyone send their child here. Disciplinary actions are often biased and insufficient and the curriculum is dated and not equivalent to public school standards. Some teachers are good at what they do, but many are barely qualified to teach. I've experienced teachers belittling students and giving incorrect instruction in courses with no known repercussions given to them. In addition, the overall culture and environment of the school does not prepare children to face the real world. Many students graduate and attend high school and end up clinging to old "friendships" because they feel so lost and socially behind. There is no diversity in this school and some kids are made to feel less important because their families don't shell out large donations. Also, this school is not at all suitable for students with special needs. Overall, St. James School was not worth the money and it was not a positive experience.

Love it. 1 child left at this school. My two older children have graduated St James and excelled at Marianapolis Preparatory School based on the education they received at St . James

As of this review, I have 4 kids attending St. James School, I would not have my kids attend any other school. The teachers are wonderful and dedicated to the success of the children and the value rich environment is something I work at home to give my kids and it is reinforced at school. I find the academic structure to be challenging and just enough to ensure my kids are being pushed to do their best. The entire staff is second to none! I could not recommend St. James any higher, best decision my wife and I ever made!
