The leadership at Arrowhead is exceptional. The school community is strong and vibrant. We feel so fortunate to have our kids here!

This is an amazing school. I have 4 kids and all of them went to this school. At the same time I can compare with other schools. We lived in NJ for 2 years because of business. Teachers treat their kids almost like parents. They are loving and caring and do their utmost to develop kids talents. Scool is small and cozy. My recent experience with my youngest going to kindergarten was astonishing. My son did not speak english, and teachers actually encouraged me to keep his second language at home. The teacher learnt a few words in russian so that she could communicate with my son. Then she asked about what my son likes (he liked trains and planes), and the next day he got some of those in the classroom. He loves his teacher and misses the school. It is so important to get child motivated from the very beginning - probably most important to secure future academic success. And the staff in this school nails it. I had similar experience with all my kids with different teachers. So, while I do not know how greatschool derives the ratings - they treat every child individually regardless of race or level of income. Test scores are great. Homework is appropriate for the age - in NJ my 2nd year student was getting a lot of homework, but it just demotivated him. My oldest daughter who also started from Arrowhead and is now at High school and has 4.0 GPA told me that in WA she had less homework, and at the same time she learnt more and was able to finish more. It is much better than a lot of homework which requires just a lot of time effort to mechanically complete. So my recommendation - do not hesitate to bring your child here.

This school is exceptional. I moved my kids from a 12000/yr private school to here and thought, why was I paying when the private school experience is right here in my backyard. They do such a great job of meeting each child individually and teaching so many life and academic skills effectively. The teachers are top notch and the community involvement impressive. Children are safe, happy snd cared for here. The only poor rating I see here is from a disgruntled Covid denier angry about schools closing during a pandemic. it’s about district and state politics, not the school and should be removed. The school has impressively developed programs for those needing more help in school and those excelling. It’s in a mostly white neighborhood, so the diversity stats are skewed by lack of study population size in this report. You will not regret sending your children here, regardless of income or ethnicity or academic abilities. It’s outstanding snd supportive all around.

This is an incredible, student-centered and comprehensive elementary school. It honors neurodiversity and seeks to support each child's individual needs. While it doesn't house a segregated EAP program, I found my Hi-Cap child learned more about collaboration, problem-solving, and social skills be being part of a mixed class. She was academically challenged, but even more, she grew and blossomed as a child who graduated well-prepared for the rigors of middle school. She also had her artistic and creative gifts honored as much as her academic gifts - Arrowhead has a robust Art Docent and Clay Docent program and the visual arts were a strong addition to the strong music and PE programs. We love the staff and principal. I couldn't have asked for a better elementary experience for my child.

Good for average students. Very poor accelerated learning plans for those above the minimal threshold. Shut down before any school in the state and early announced would not try to reopen schools with no information about data on how they would determine safe to reopen.

We love Arrowhead and both my children have had fantastic, caring and compassionate teachers every year. The parents have created a wonderful community of truly friendly parents. After 7 years at this school, our elementary experience could not have been any better. The staff also shines as the nicest in the Northshore School District.

We feel so lucky to be part of the community at Arrowhead. Caring, supportive teachers and staff. Amazing PTA provides wonderful activities all year and supplements arts programs and clubs. Parents are very involved and these are wonderful children and families. We even have a full-time nurse who knows the children and a fantastic and caring librarian with a wonderful program for the kids. We could not love it more!

My grandson has been a student at Arrowhead Elementary since first grade. We couldn't be happier with the school and staff. It's a small and caring school. We are pleased with the teachers, the academics, and the extracurricular activities. We love Arrowhead for our grandson.

Arrowhead is the BEST elementary school I could imagine for my child! We couldn't ask for anything better. All the teachers are fantastic, there is an excellent family-friendly feeling, great community, and a safe environment. Although all the schools in Northshore are outstanding, Arrowhead is a gem!
