Not a good school. Rating is purely a reflection of the socioeconomic status of the majority of the students. The teachers are incompetent. If you like state sponsored daycare, this is your school. Kids that are advanced will do well on STAAR, so there is zero focus on them. They sit and stagnate.

As a past student of this school, IT WAS TERRIBLE. I was a C student, 10-11, with parents that did not care for my well-being. I went to school almost everyday with messy hair, clothes mix matched, and the teachers at this school do not care for you. It was very clear something alarming was going on, and my parents never attended any teacher meeting, etc. Teachers often blame the student for their behavior and grades rather than looking into their environment and identifying the issue at hand. I highly recommend not bringing your child into this school. If something’s going on at the school, I guaranteed you won’t know anything about it. When I got to middle-high school I literally had to relearn elementary grade level schooling because the teachers do not bring you into small groups or bother to check in. I’m a straight A+ student now. This school let me down when I needed it most. If the kid struggles to fit in, they won’t.

It is getting worse year by year. The teachers are not friendly or it involves discrimination sometimes.

We are leaving Katy, Texas, and I really need to share the amazing experience at KDE. I feel we started our journey in America by experiencing the best of the best! It's gonna be hard to find such great people all in one place! Parent involvement is strong, and the staff really like to see you there. You feel like it's a second home for the children. I've been helping at the Cafeteria, Library, as a homeroom mom... and I can say that I made friends in there! Mrs. Davidson herself is fantastic, even helping the school as crossing guard! The PTA is a force of nature, with such great people!! Our family and our dog Snowball will miss you very much!! ;))

Davidson elementary is a great school with awesome teachers and administrators. Davidson teachers are top notch. Lots of good experience. This is a very diverse school with lots of accelerated learners. The school was beautiful on the inside. It is amazing how many kiddos attend here. I believe more attention needs to be given to bullying in the upper grades. I would still recommend this school to new residents

We are just finishing up our first year at Keiko Davidson.This is a wonderful school in Katy.Every single teacher is hand picked and have a sincere passion for teaching. The PTA is very nice and always helping out a lot. The kids are nice and very smart. KDE is a bully free zone. I highly recommend sending your child to KDE. We could not be more pleased with our decision!
