Both my stepson and daughter are sophomores at Katy High School and they've both have had excellent experiences. They are both in Pre-AP/AP courses and the teachers do challenge them and truly are getting them ready for college. The school spirit is second to none as well. I would highly recommend Katy if you want your child to get a great education in a nurturing and safe environment.

Terrible. Have tried to leave and people at the district are heartless and don’t care. 6/10 on great schools means my kid is getting an inferior education while I’m paying outrageous taxes.

This school has definitely improved over the years. The staff here are so nice and teach very good. Before, there were some bullies here and there, but most of them have cleared out. I would definitely recommend this school for academics and athletics.

This school is becoming very dangerous. It is not the school of choice anymore as they would like the public to believe. There has been many serious assaults at this school resulting in EMS being dispatched to the school. With little help from the staff or police in keeping students safe or monitoring known problem students. It is full of drug use and gangs but yet not much is being done to clean up the school.

This is a horrible school. Gang activity, bullies everywhere and drugs. I withdrew my two teenagers from this school and placed them in private schools. Yea it will cost me some money but well worth it.

My sons school is Katy High School. It is, in my opinion, the best school in the Katy School District.
