JBE is a true community school where students are empowered to reach their fullest potential. We have become a Center for Environmental Stewardship where students lead the work in environmental sustainability in the community.

As a teacher at JBE, I am constantly impressed by the wonderful learning environment that supports academic excellence and student well-being. There is a strong sense of community with parents, guardians, and staff that creates a positive learning experience for all students. It is an honor to work at JBE.

I have to agree with the teachers post below. The sense of community is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The principal, Ms. Radcliff, goes above and beyond for the children. Every teacher we’ve had has truly cared about each child and not only are great teacher but teachers of life. As my son has gotten into the older grade levels, he’s been so fortunate to have teachers that coach him through social and emotional situations. They all care so much and I feel so blessed to be at this school. I know that my children will cherish their memories at JBE. Thank you to the staff and teachers for being such a crucial part of our growing community.

As both a teacher and a parent, I can wholeheartedly say that JBE has been an exceptional experience for our family. The school fosters a warm, welcoming, and truly family-oriented environment. Every teacher, staff member, and administration make an effort to know and support each child. The sense of community here is unparalleled, and it feels like we are all part of a close-knit family working together for the success and well-being of every student. JBE has not only provided a high-quality education but has also instilled values of kindness, respect, and collaboration. We couldn't be happier to be a part of such a wonderful school!

As a former student, a parent, and now a teacher, I have had the unique privilege of experiencing Jensen Beach Elementary (JBE) from multiple perspectives. I can say, without hesitation, that JBE is a truly exceptional school that goes above and beyond for its students and families. From my time as a student, I remember the warm, nurturing environment fostered by both the teachers and administration. The teachers are not only incredibly dedicated and skilled but also truly care about the well-being and success of each child. They go the extra mile to ensure that every student feels valued and supported. As a parent, I saw firsthand how JBE creates a welcoming and positive atmosphere for families. There is a strong sense of community, with regular events that bring families together, allowing parents and teachers to collaborate and support each other. It’s rare to find a school where the staff feels like an extension of your own family, and at JBE, that’s exactly what it feels like. Now, as a teacher, I continue to be impressed by the leadership and administration at JBE. The principal and staff work tirelessly to create a school culture where everyone is empowered to thrive—whether it’s through professional development opportunities for teachers or by prioritizing student well-being. The commitment to providing a well-rounded education also enriches the learning experience for all students, preparing them for future success.Overall, JBE is a wonderful place where academic excellence and personal growth are nurtured in a supportive, family-centered environment. It is a school that I am proud to be a part of and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a school that truly cares about the success and happiness of its students.

JBE is such a special school filled with teachers that give their all to students. JBE teachers go above and beyond, you don't see this at every school. It is a school filled with empathy, respect and care. I am honored that my two children have the opportunity to attend.

As a teacher that is new to the district, I couldn't be happier with Jensen Beach Elementary. The staff is dedicated and welcoming, the students are kind and hard-working, and the families are supportive of their child.

Many changes over the years. Overall, JBE is a great school, caring teachers and staff with supportive and involved administrators. No school is going to meet everyone's expectations. Being an involved parent will help ensure your students happiness and success. The more you're involved at any school, the more you will get out of it. The only thing I would say could use some improvement would be consequences for student and parent actions. Some things that should be enforced, are not. (tardies, dress code, disciplinary actions when students break the rules, wearing their ID lanyards for safety reasons). I feel this is a problem district wide, not just at JBE.

We think JBE is wonderful! It feels like a family of kids and staff.

The school is tight-knit and a great principal who turned over from previous reviews given in 2019. We get regular school communication and updates from teachers. A new school will be built at this site over the upcoming year! Proud to be JBE!

They have a new principal start a couple of years named Mrs. Gibbons, who is a joke. EXTREMELY poor communication with parents. She made changes to the dress code less than 2 weeks before the start of school, well after most parents finish buying our children new wardrobe. Condescending responses are the norm for this administrator.Events, school function dates, and times get changed on a whim with little or no notice. The curriculum has become so focused on drilling these poor kids on standardized assessment tests, (teach to the test), it no longer resembles elementary school. Kids are mini zombies, prepping, worrying, obsessing about how to take the test, as oppose to naturally learning and teaching.Overcrowding is another problem, several classrooms are not actually in a school building, but instead being held in cheap trailers, you read correctly, cheap trailers. Cramped, poorly temperature controlled trailers, with an array of issues including leaks, pest infestations, and limited access to working technology.Sad to see a once thriving school be reduced to what it is today.

This school just keeps getter better! The new principal is involved and passionate about supporting students, teachers, parents. The previous review is not accurate as all of my friends love the changes and can't wait for the new school year with teachers who are great!

I have 2 children at Jensen Beach Elementary. The teachers are great and definitely care about the students and their achievements, but the administration is awful. I am unhappy with the new principal, Mrs. Gibbons. She is a bully who cares more about appearances than the students or the staff. It seems like staff morale is at an all-time low at the school under the leadership of Mrs. Gibbons.

I have 2 kids who are on the autism spectrum. This is the 3rd school I tired in the Stuart area for my boys and this is the best fit. They've been attending for 3 years and I love the staff and teachers.

I cannot speak well enough of this school, its staff, educators and Administration. My son is having his most successful year and is very happy because of this school, their competence and their compassion. I sincerely wish he had had the benefit of Jensen Beach Elementary school throughout his elementary school career. I cannot thank these educators enough. Our family is sincerely grateful.

Overall this has been a great school for our child. The PTA with parent involvement is nothing short of amazing. So many parents really care about this neighborhood school and providing the very best environment for our kids. It is a wonderful warm small town close nit community feeling to live here. The few complaints we have are that some classes are completely overwhelmed with all the severe behavior challenge cases and some classes have it made in the shade. There should be more balance in class assignment in behavior as we have a suspicion of favortism in class assignments. Also this new common core standard and previous FCAT with teaching to the test is an utter state failure non the less, and absolutely confusing even after parent teacher conferences. How do we distinguish our hard working kids for college from others in a new grading scale of M, P or N instead of A,B,C,D,F... with a GPA? It would also be nice if they had the walk the track for vv's with parents before school starts EVERY Friday instead of just once and awhile. Other than these two complaints, definately make the investment and move into Jensen for this school and the outstanding high school!

I really didn't think I could think less of this school or be more dissatisfied, but then I spoke to the Principal! WOW! He is extremly hostile and unprofessional! I have never been so insulted and angry! The teachers are not held accountable as the Principal and VIce Principal do nothing but cover for them and blame students and insult parents! My children came to this school this year with a history of good grades and have struggled her do to lack of communication between teacher/student and teacher/parent! The teachers are extremly unorganized, their is NO communication to parents on upcoming events or school work. Emails and phone messages go unanswered! We have met several times trying to work out the issues and the teachers simply do not follow through on agreed upon plans! And then are not held accountable! This school is shameful!

Please if you have a special needs child , please think about choosing another school. All children should be viewed as having value and be in a good learning environment with caring adults as teachers not people there to collect a paycheck.

IF you have a child with special needs I would suggest a different school district.
