We have had nothing but the best experiences for our three children who have attended Jamestown and Chinese Camp schools. Amazing teachers, devoted staff and a solid district team and board.

As a parent of two children that attend Jamestown I have had positive experiences all around with the school. They have some of the best teachers and staff who clearly care about and go above and beyond for the students. The campus is incredibly welcoming and staff has always been very responsive to any concerns that do happen to come up. We love the programs and opportunities offered to the students (Dual Immersion, Chinese Camp Science Academy, wonderful After School Program, lots fun events for families to take part in). Jamestown PTO is also very involved and works with staff to further involve families and the community with activities during and after school. Truly grateful my kids attend such a wonderful and nurturing school.

I am a parent of a student with a disability and Jamestown Elementary staff have went above and beyond to make sure my child has everything he needs to excel. The kids have accepted him and they even walk him to class. I also have a 6th grader and his been at Jamestown Elementary since he was in kindergarten. We LOVE Jamestown Elementary!!! The staff treats us like family.

We speak often at our PTO meetings how grateful we are to be able to have our kids grow up at either Jamestown Elementary or at Chinese camp science academy. The opportunities our kids receive at these schools are incredible. Speaking as a parent of three who attend Jamestown Elementary and Chinese camp science Academy, I have realized that each of my kids learn differently, have different interests, and thrive in their education for different reasons. So the fact that Jamestown Elementary offers not only the regular school curriculum but also a duel immersion program to provide Spanish speaking opportunities, while Chinese camp science academy focuses more on stem activities where students are actively engaged, where there are over-qualified teachers, there is definitely a program for any student. I truly feel lucky to have my kids grow up in the Jamestown School system.

The only reason I can see Jamestown getting a lower score is due to the individual parent involvement with children at Jamestown Elementary. It’s not the school nor the teachers. Unfortunately it’s the irresponsible, non caring parents that channel the negative outcome through there children. For these children Jamestown Elementary is the uplifting positive environment they get in there life. Unfortunately that’s the problem with most schools! Children bring there home life with them to school.

Jamestown School sits in the mountains to the north of Yosemite NP, The student here love there school and like to show it on Pride day. That's a great day but they have pride day ever Thurs. This kids are ready to learn and to better their live in this ever growing world.
