The teachers and staff really care about every student. The class sizes are small, and students are able to recieve individualized instruction. This is a great school.

This is a wonderful shool and I believe it has a great model for children to become compassionate, life long learners, not just pass tests.

Gold Rush Charter is a great school to attend. My son was in Kindergarten last year and was in a multi grade class. He was allowed to move a little ahead of his fellow classmates and read with the first grade. The staff is caring and friendly and makes all feel welcome like part of a family. I would recommend this school to anyone out there that is interested in putting their child's needs and education first.

My son was in Kindergarten last year (2011). Had a great class and teacher (Ms. Hall). Son was sick with lung infection quit often due to adapting to the climate in the area and was sick with colds since he and the other little ones are acceptable to viruses. In addition he had a maturity issue like most boys so he was shy in class. Spoke to the superintendent on numerous occasions who stated they understood the issues. They agreed we should restart him next year in Kindergarten. The gentleman in charge advised us that since he was aware of his sickness we had nothing to worry about that things were fine. This year as agreed we re-enrolled him in Kindergarten however they refused to except him be cause of his prior attendance. They are know punishing a six year old child for being sick. The school is less then a mile from our home now we must put our son at risk by traveling the roads in inclement weather to attend school miles away from our residence. Outside of the education they have to offer I am very disappointed.
