Very bad. No homework sent home ever. Counselors are hard to reach and when you do, you’re told ten different things. They don’t even know the proper entrance exams (SAT/ACT) accepted by the Colleges our son wants to attend. Told us the wrong information. Does not help the students prepare for SAT/ACTs and do not have study guides readily available. Makes the kids watch YouTube lessons during class filmed by other erroneous teachers who post on TouTube, on subjects they should be teaching themselves. Horrible school!

This school has given my daughter plenty of opportunity. She is in dual enrollment and is only in the 10th grade. I am grateful for the teachers and the countless at Jackson High.

My daughter goes to Jackson High School and my other daughter graduated from JHS. There are problems with the school, but it is getting worked on. I think that the change in the county board of education and the leadership will be good for the students. Change is good and I expect to see better scores from the schools. Parental involvement would help also. Your children will learn what is taught, but parents need to get involved and help the educators. We are a small county school, but improvements are on the horizon. I would gladly recommend Butts County Schools.

Just to add a note to my previous statement. If you didn't know any different then I suppose someone would think this school is "ok" but compared to other schools across the state it is very subpar in every category no matter what the poistive reviews on here may say! If you're considering moving here then be sure and do your research about the schools in this area....you may change your mind!!!
