I do not recommend it for a kids who only has speech league impairment because it is a school for kids with a stronger disability, not for a kids who has reading impairment disability. All kids are together no matter what disability they have.As a mother, I do not recommend it if your kids has a EIP due to speech language impairment. The other alternative is to treat our kids and not put them in a place where they are surrounded by all kids with different types of disabilities.

My daughter went from hating school and constantly feeling behind, so therefore stressed, to loving school. She may not always love to do the work, but she loves to be at school with a strong community that has helped her truly blossom. The change to JCOS was holistic. Her whole demeanor changed to be far more positive. Two negatives: It doesn't include any after school activities like sports teams or theater, and there isn't an a lot of help in finding a good high school fit for after JCOS. It would be nice to have a JCOS HS.
