Barton is horrible about letting you know when a kid gets injured. I am now scared to send my kid to school after him coming home with a knot on his head the size of his nose. After having a meeting with the principal they still couldn’t tell me what happen.

Barton has an amazing family feel as soon as you walk in the doors. Everyone is always taking care of others. The students and staff are determined to grow and be better than they were the day before. This school definitely has resilience!

Barton Elementary provides a great learning environment. The teachers are dedicated to their jobs and the administrators provide a lot of support. The students genuinely love to learn and inspire their teachers to be the best they can be!

Barton is in the middle of a low economic community. Many students have harder home lives and come to school with their mind preoccupied. Barton teachers believe in their students. They not only care about their education but they care about each individual student that walks through the doors.

While Barton serves a lower income clientele, the teachers and admin are amazing and do everything they can to meet the needs of the students.

My children went to Barton. I started as a parent and moved to being a teacher here. The teachers really care. Barton has great activities for kids - like Makerspace activities before school, a student council, and they have Destination Imagination teams.

This is phenomenal school with humble kids. The kids love coming to school and teachers create a positive environment for them. The principal makes it a priority to make the kids and parents feel welcomed. Thee staff is very supportive and there are great teachers doing great things.
