I am a teacher at Lively elementary and I feel blessed! The students are actively involved in learning in all areas. Fine Arts dept. supports the homeroom goals and PE makes learning fun. We have many extra activities and programs for our students. One of my favorite was Trunk or Treat along with Literacy Night. We have holiday programs and even a talent show. The students at Lively love to learn.

I have been teaching at Lively for 6 years, and I love this school. The staff work together as a family to ensure that the needs of our students are met on a daily basis. While we are definitely academically focused, we also work hard to ensure that our students' social/emotional needs are also met. We work as a team to make sure our school is a safe and secure environment for our students to promote the love of learning. #WeAreLively

I am the Principal at Lively Elementary. This is an amazing school. We have the best teachers and parents. The programs offered at Lively are set to meet the needs of all learners. This past year Lively earned a distinction as a top school in student academic progress. Lively also has very supportive involved business partners. Please feel free to contact the school and we can provide a tour at your convenience.

One of our children have been at Lively for the last 13 years. We have had positive experience from education standpoint and relationally from leadership to staff. Teachers are there to invest and make a difference! They have shaped our children caring about the character and education piece. Our children are thriving and well prepared for transition to junior high. Current Principal knows how to encourage and inspire students to work hard! The teachers are effective and creative in their approaches to learning. We treasure our experience at Lively!

I recommend Lively Elementary! I currently have 3 children attending Lively and they always look forward to school days. Two of my kids are in there 3rd year at this school. They have had wonderful counselors and the staff at Lively is GREAT! The Principals are very understanding AND helpful. Life happens here (like everywhere) Yet Overall, it is a wonderful place for children to learn, develop and blossom into the best they can be. My kids are happy attending this School.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SCHOOL!! My child's teacher was out for maternity leave and some other reason for most of the school year. At least 5 months. The kids had new substitute teachers almost every day! My child didn't learn anything. NEVER had any spelling test. NEVER had any homework. It was like my child was going to the babysitter's Monday - Friday. But even a sitter understands the importance of teaching and being creative with a first grader. No one responded to my calls or letters for 4 months. The assistant principle finally scheduled a meeting on the day I decided to withdraw my child. They misdiagnosed my child with a reading disorder. Then, 3 months later, while I was withdrawing & asking for all of my child records and they said "Oh! No one called you and notified you that there was a mistake on your child's records!" UGH!? Needless to say, We ran as far away from that school as we could. I felt like my child's class was totally forgotten about. No one cared what was going on in that class room or how a bunch of 1st graders may have to retake 1st grade again because of this school's neglect! My child left there only knowing what was taught to them in Kindergarten.

We've had great experiences with this school. Teachers are very caring and my 1st grader received loads of support when struggling with learning to read. The principal is super attentive and impresses me every time i meet with her.

This school has a wonderful full day Gifted/Talented program for grades 1-5. It's located in an area with lower income, but strives to make each child feel as though they are capable of success in life. They have made my children love to come to school everyday. There are monthly nights of learning (Math Night, etc.) and programs to help parents connect with their children.
