This school is terrible the food looks straight out of a sewer drain, Almost everyone in the school is either racist or a jerk, and only some of the teachers actullay care about the students. Also the security is terrible the only time i've seen is used is NEVER. The only good thing about this whole place is recess and that's about it. And this year most of the teachers are former SUBSITUTES! This school is the reason I have depression.

I'm a student here, and let me tell you. I hate it! The food is looks like it came straight out of a prison, the students there have no respect for others, lunch monitors like the more popular kids there, and the teachers are way to strict there. It makes learning difficult for me. Trust me when I say this. You do NOT want to go here.

went to big hollow most my life, teachers are way too strict. my old science teacher made me lose my interest in space, they are that bad! if your advinced and imdependent, then don't go here.

Worst school, do not go here. I went there for my entire life and every year was HORRIBLE, all my teachers were horrible, food was moldy and I got a headache every single day.

i'm a student at big hollow about to go to highschool, these years have been some of my best time, it was so fun so far in the school year, the teachers are nice, people are kind, everybody is friendly and food is great, big hollow is great.

Honestly, dont really recommend this school. The teachers are strict but when bad things happen they dont really do anything, lots of teachers can be kind but it really depends on what kind of student you are, the food is very iffy. Depending on what's for lunch is depending on whether I'll eat or not, the kids behavior is..not good if you want your kid to behave and be in a better environment dont choose this school. Theres fights, lots of drama, and sometimes racism involved:( there is also bullying but its normalized there, on the bus its ridiculously loud. Also about the teachers, depending on who you get you rarely get a teacher that will actually help you understand. I've been going to this school since kindergarten and they kinda just shove words in your mouth instead of teaching you. If you have difficulty learning they'll repeat what they said and then quickly move on, one teacher even started yelling at me because she saw me walking across the halls when I was supposed to be walking out of school when in reality I wanted to see if a counselor was available so I could have a quick talk and when she wasnt there and I walked back down the stairs, that one teacher saw me on my phone because I texted her about the counselor and the lady started yelling at me because she said my mom would be mad and literally walked behind me while I was going, continuing to yell at me and I even started crying a little, I ended up going home in tears. The good thing is that if your feeling mentally not okay, you can always tell a teacher because if they dont let you have a break or go talk to someone they can get in trouble.

This school is TERRIABE the lunch ladies accuse you of "Cutting inline" and then send you all the way back so you have NO time to eat! The students are terrible they push hit and scream I have a headache going home every day. I do NOT recommend this school at all.

the food is horrible and a lot of teachers are rude but some of them are good but there is a lot of kids that will get you in trouble for no reason.

I have found in many years of scouting and other curricular activities, a school is as great as the teachers, the leadership but especially the involvement of parents. I have observed caring teachers, principals and their leadership at Big Hollow School district. And I thank every one of them! THANK YOU!

My school is the worst place ever. The Office Ladies never bother to look up at the security cameras screen.(if someone did, they could've caught who brought a BULLET to school) Bus Drivers r very BAD drivers. In summer, there r WEEDS everywhere on the grass LITERALLY. Making u PAY things that has RIP OFF prices and NOT in good condition.(for example for 6-8 graders has to pay plain gym uniforms that smells and is dirty for $15.00. If not bought, ur CHILD will get BAD GRADES. This school is TOTALLY UNFAIR and they DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT THE KIDS, only the MONEY their parents have in their wallets.

Please know that this entire district is in located on one campus.There is one large building that houses the primary and elementary (in two separate wings) and one large 2-story building for 5th-8th grade students. I've had children in this district for almost 10 years. Compared to other schools my children have attended I would saw Big Hollow is just mediocre. The teachers are great but there is a history of the district really giving children a hard time when they struggle academically or have emotional concerns/family issues. Everything is black or white at this school. Many children who struggle here flourish in high school once exposed to a different environment and approach to learning/discipline.

This school was great but in 2012-2013 it died i do not recommend this school because your kids will sit there with no homework and the most favorite thing that think is fun is watching movies for 3 HOURS

I am a student at this school and I am in 7th grade. I have been going to Big Hollow since Kindergarten. I honestly could not wish for a better school with kinder teachers and thoughtful students. Most of my classmates at this school are very considerate of everyone. Our sports department is very advanced and we are very competitive. Most of our sports are only available for 7th and 8th graders, but there are plenty available for all of the other grades too. Yes. You should send your son/ daughter here.
