Our child attended this school and the quality of the education that they received was awful. They were constantly bored and there were always fights. Students basically didn't listen to teachers and were always on their phones. We pulled our child out of this school after their freshman year and enrolled them at another school. Their experience at their new school was night at day. If you can send your child to another school other than this place, I would highly advise it.

As a Student that has attended multiple high schools I can honestly say Lawrence North has not only provided more opportunities to pursue further education in subjects such as cosmetology, culinary arts and mechanics the school has a positive environment and a supportive staff. It has given its students a place to call home and be proud of. The extra curricular activities offered give students fun experiences and a positive outlook on school.

Lawrence North provides a real world, caring environment in which students can explore interests and gain skills needed for college and beyond. Their offerings surpass area private schools.

My kids have had a wonderful experience at Lawrence North. They have taken advantage of rigorous courses (honors, immersion, AP, Project Lead the Way and biomed), band, art, and both school and club sports. They have had excellent, caring teachers, coaches and counselors. The school administration is top-notch. The school does a good job of communicating via social media, email and Sunday night telephone calls. The courses at McKenzie Career Center, available to both LN and LC students, are rich and diverse. My son, who is interested in design, has had the opportunity to work on a 3D printer, laser cutter and CNC mill at McKenzie, which helped him build his college admission portfolio as well as providing hands-on experience in his future area of study. Additionally, many seniors are able to get real world experience during the school day via co-op, internship, and peer tutoring programs. I highly recommend Lawrence North High School.

My son is off to Purdue after spending four great years at LN. I could not be happier with my son s experience at LN. The teachers are accessible and supportive. Mr. Williams was my son s guidance counselor and he was a wonderful resource. No one can beat Lawrence North or Lawrence Central s Performing Arts programs. Great competitive Marching Band, Concert Bands, Theater, you name it. I am so glad we did not listen to the people that put down public schools. We would have spent a lot of money and missed out on a great four years. Send your kids for sure, but get involved yourself with a parent support groups. They are a lot of fun.

LN offers a wide range of courses including Honors, AP, ACP, IB, AVID, and Spanish Immersion. There are many extra-curricular and co-curricular programs to choose from. My daughter has been involved with golf, swimming, and the drama program. School leadership is excellent and the staff is very caring. We could not be happier with a school for our child, and now our 7th grader is very excited to be a Wildcat!

We've had both ends of the spectrum - 1 child that struggled academically and another who is an honors student. For both kids we feel like LN has been a very positive environment for them to learn and grow. Most of their teachers have been hard working, care a ton about the kids, willing to go well beyond the extra mile. We love the diversity and the wide range of activities available. There are many, many families who are actively involved in helping create a great environment. We're glad those parents are a part of our kids' lives. In my mind the biggest challenge is a small population of students who are disruptive and can at times sort of put a damper on the experience of the majority who want to be there and learn and enjoy a healthy high school experience. When we moved from our former home a few years ago we spent a great deal of time and effort to find a place that would keep our kids at LN. We're very glad we did!
