LC is an excellent school. The leaders and staff create a very welcoming and friendly environment. Students are encouraged to get to know the adults in the building. The school offers an incredible number of clubs and activities- there truly is something for everyone. Another thing I notice is how the students are accepting of everyone. LC feels like HOME!

Be aware this school doesn’t seem to care about the safety of the kids. My teen was threatened twice and they did nothing. Everyone reassured my teen did nothing wrong, but they didn’t reassure her safety. They still allow these kids in leadership positions. They don’t care about the physical, mental, or emotional abuse towards from bullying.

They have redone almost every inch of the school and it's sports fields. It's stepped it's game up when it's come to student support and learning opportunities also.

My son had a wonderful experience at Lawrence Central. The environment was safe and nurturing. He was able to accomplish all of his goals both academically and athletically, which helped him secure a full- four year scholarship to college. He was challenged academically and this challenge will help him be better prepared for college. I would highly recommend Lawrence Central to families.

I love this school. I am in several sports, clubs, and AP classes and have had a great experience at LC. I wouldn’t want to go to any other school because the community this school creates is unlike any other. The teachers are caring and kind and take time to pay attention to each student. The administration is very involved, understanding, and prideful. The school councilors are always available and willing to find any way to help you. Our technicians make sure you are able to efficiently complete your work both at school and at home. When you are involved at LC, the experience and connections you can create is unexpected. The sports community and school sprit are strong in the Lawrence community. There is also a lot of support for preforming arts through different competition, plays, and concerts. Overall, Lawrence Central is an amazing school to go to and going here is worth the friends, family, and community you will become apart of.

This school is amazing the new building is gorgeous. Administration is amazing very helpful. All teachers very friendly and helpful This is my last year and I am so so sad that I will be leaving a place that is like a home to me.

Lc is very diverse and open. Things are changing constantly and getting better and better. Is a pleasure to be on the journey with this school and the opportunity that the school offers are incredible, the staff here are open to supporting you mentally or academically. Is up to you to let them know what struggle you facing so they would try their best to help you. Definitely would recommend this school if you just move to Lawrence township!

the teachers will pick fight with you , this school has no type of support system . the teachers don't teach good and dont explain things very clear . the princials never want to hear everybody side of the story , they pick and choice this school is just horible and the school is not even build all they way its bad dont recommend this !

5 of my 9 children (adopted, biological and stepchildren) have graduated from Lawrence Central. We currently have on attending and one to attend in the future years. I have had a special needs child graduate from Lawrence Central. All of my children have had a great experience especially my son that graduated with a certificate of completion. The Special Education Department always kept me well informed as well as other teachers. The key is communication. I have always felt the teachers were responsive and kept me and my husband in the know when it comes to our children and their educational needs. Even during COVID, I felt the school district and teachers did what they could to make sure that the children had what they needed to succeed.

My senior has had a great experience here all 4 years. They have been safe, and genuinely enjoy school. I have an incoming freshman, and so far so good. The leadership is improving and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Very impressed! Students and staff were all very friendly and informative. Students took great pride in their school, and showed great leadership skills by taking initiative to speak with students and parents while sharing their interests and experiences! I’m overall pleased and more confident in my daughter’s future with LC, and highly interested in the IB program!Thank you for the hospitality during the open house, looking forward to next year!

this is the foremost worse school ive ever been to. the staff are awful. not willing to assist with parent concerns at all.

Transferred to Lawrence last year - Was able to make many new friends and get set up quickly. Teachers really care about the students, and lots of support.

LC is an amazing school for those who choose to take advantage of all the school has to offer. It has a rigorous curriculum for those who wish to be challenged. Extra curricular programming is outstanding in both athletics and performing arts. Students who put forth effort are more than prepared for their next step in life. My experience as a parent has been wonderful. Love the staff, students and parents that I have volunteered with over the years.
