My son has been to Turning Point since he was 2 1/2 and he's 8 now. I have literally seen him grow from a baby to a young man at this school. As being a single mother, I have had a lot of help from the teachers there, to the principal to the janitor they have all been a helping hand with my son and myself. They offer all type of activities from the A+ club to Student council , they also have etiquette classes which I love. I love the fact that God is the head of this school. There is no perfect school and Turning Point has its flaws just like any school, but it's positive things out beats the negative all day. The academics is beyond awesome. My son has achieved very well in all studies and Turning Point makes sure of that. This school also loves to give back to its community and make sure that if you need help they are there with open arms.As I tell everybody you find a school that works best for you and your child. This school works best with us and I have no plans on leaving.

I have two kids there. The staff is very caring. The elementary part of the school is only a few years old, but my kids have been there since it started and every year it gets better. My son's whole 3rd grade class passed I-Read. I like that there are cameras in the classrooms so I can see my kids all day. They also have sports, praise dance, and other stuff for the kids to do after school. Teachers are helpful and it is easy to find out what's going on because they email assignments, the newsletter (and it's on their website), they text... Whatever is needed. I really hope to keep my kids there in the future.

This school has very poor communication skills. My child has been there since Prek and he is below average in reading; however, he has strong math and science skills. A young teacher new to the school has catered to my son, which has caused more harm than good. I have texted her while at work viewing watchmegrow and have had to tell her my child needs to be sitting and not up. I have asked for this teacher to be stronger with my child. There are only two teachers for this grade; I would have liked to been given the option to have my child moved to the other class with the male teacher; I was not. I was told my child would probably be a better fit somewhere else; after this child has made the honor roll twice this year. I reviewed his DOJO and he was 81% in the green the entire week. The information is contradictory to the information received in the meeting. Not to mention, I was told on a friday afternoon and schools are closed this coming Monday-MLK. Where would my son go? I believe this decision was made prior to Christmas break; it would have given me time to look at other schools. The teacher sets the atmosphere for the class on the first day of school. Research.

My daughter is new to the school this year and I'm still unsure about it. Since the elementary part of it is fairly new, I haven't been able to find too much information on the school. My best advice to any parent that want their child to attend Turning Point, is to do as much research as possible, visit the school a few times and allow your child to shadow for a day. I have heard good things and bad things, but I will have to find out for myself. I'm just hoping its the best chose for my daughter.

Turning Point (TP) Schools is an amazing school. My 2 children have been attending for 3 years now and we absolutely love it. My son transitioned from day care to school at TP and the experience changed my life. The staff really cares for your child as if it's their own and go above and beyond to ensure they are educated and cared for in the best way possible. The school uses WatchMeGrow which allows me to check-in the camera in my childrens classrooms and watch from computer, ipad, and phone at any time! I like how the prek classes has their own teacher and assistant and the classes are seperated by age. The A+ club was really fun and challenging for my son and last year he graduated with high honors and was salutorian for his grade! We are so excited to be back this year and every year to come.

I absolutely love this school! My son has been on honor roll, his behavior has improved 100% and he loves school. His previous school he was flunking, always in trouble and on the verge of being expelled. Once I enrolled him into Turning Point schools his entire attitude about school has improved! I am truely a testimonial parent!

This is a great school. Not only are they passionate about academics excellent but they truly care about the child and there families. I love the fact that all classes have chapel every morning and on Fridays the school comes together to do chapel. Not only are they growing and challenging their brains by teaching them a grade above their level but also challenging their spirit and soul.

TP Schools is a great school with a very friendly, caring staff. My grandchildren attend and the whole family loves it. Some grandparents come in and read to the kids. They encourage academic excellence and make sure the "Christian" part of their school is not in name only. Great choice!
