I had a wonderful experience at this school, and I want to highlight the outstanding office staff. They are incredibly kind and professional, unlike any other school I've encountered. My child always talks about Mrs. Merrell, and having met her in person, I can attest that she is a genuinely sweet, compassionate, and caring person. It's evident that she deeply cares for both the kids and the parents she works with. Overall, I rate my experience a perfect 10/10. :)

Worst school in pasco I think.Staff and teachers write referrals for everything even with thee 4th graders who attend their now. The teachers never look happy to be teaching and it shows with the students..I hope news channels catch wind of the mistreatment and they be investigated.

They got an issue writing kids up all the time..What ever happened to in school suspension or detention.They are very strict. Far from a great school. With IEPs teachers don't care if your kid has a disablity.They found things on these poor kids.Three of my neighbors said they abuse their power at that school. These issues need to be looked into.

Administration is just incredible always looking and helping studengs. This is Mr.Mussleman's first year being the principal at HMS he was a assistant principal for 2 years and he's a great guy! Ms.Brady is a very nice and caring assistant principal she's also very easy to talk to. This is Mr.Casel's first year being a assistant principal at HMS he's a great guy and very nice. The teachers are okay if you are a 7th grader Mr.Field is a great Language Arts teacher, however this year HMS introduced a new 7th grade team the Jaguars it's a great team just Ms.Higgins is a tough teacher other then that a great team!! Mountain Lions the civics teacher Mr.Aday barely does work so be mindful of that. The 6th grade Bengals is a great team this year too Hope that helped one thing I forgot to mention is HMS doesn't have enough parent involvement that needs a little more work other then that Hudson Middle School is a great school the staff there is very nice and caring

I don't know who is rating/reviewing this school but it is far from the truth. This school is horrible. I have 2 boys that attend and they are miserable. In the past month both of my boys have been physically attacked on the bus and they are bullied on a daily basis. The faculty has no control over the children. Most of the children curse and have no respect for the faculty. My son says the school has a bad odor all the time, it is not kept clean. The bathrooms are not kept clean or stocked with soap or towels. The cafeteria food is horrible, if my boys eat the school lunch, they come home sick. I have spoken with administration to deal with the bullying and the physical attacks but even though they deal with it, it continues to happen and they never call back. I have to continuously call to get information about the assaults on my children and what they are doing about it. This entire school is a mess. The bullying is throughout the entire school and buses. The faculty watches and allows it to happen. There is nothing in place to control the actions of these children. I would transfer my boys, but most of the Pasco County schools have the same major issues.

Hudson middle school is a ok school I'm a 7th grader there, HMS got a new principal and he's has been great he's very nice and we also go a new asst he's also laid back the staff is wonderful there but if you are in 7th grade have fun bcs class sizes are huge for 7th grade I'm advanced since the work is little to easy and just being advanced im with 34 other kids so be mind for but to be honest the adminstartion doesn't care if you have any problems but maybe it's just me overall this school is one of the better pasco county schools and it's better then moon lake elm. So yeah ~E~
