The Cambridge programs they have there is amazing. They also have AVID which really helps any student struggling.

My child has a reading and speak disability and most of the teachers refuse to help her. She is being bullied most of the time and when she ask for help the Principal says there is nothing he can do. The bullies never have any consequence.

As a student myself this school is not perfect but if you stay away from the bad things it's actually a very solid school and has gotten better and cleaner over the last year and I would not say hudson is bad by any means yes like every school there are bad kids and bad teachers but overall it's a pretty good environment

Since my son has been enrolled he has been in three altercations. All of which the staff were completely useless. Most of it stems from bullying which is tolerated here FAR TOO MUCH. It's very strange to me how so many fights can even occur in only one semester of school. He is an A student for gods sake he doesn't need these kind of distractions in his learning environment. GOOD LUCK trying to talk to the principles or any responsible adults. It's like the staff of this school were hired on the spot. The lack of discipline in this school is truly embarrassing. The teachers allow awful slurs, cussing and constant phone use in every class. This school also seems to be a hot spot for drugs. My son was peer pressured into vaping by his fellow classmates. Evidentially most high school kids vape here. Move to a different county if you can help it. We are transferring him to pinellas soon.

my child is one of the only black students in the whole school, he has been discriminated against and called slurs on multiple occasions. The staff does nothing, the teachers, and administration is complicit with bullying and racism. I urge anyone who doesn't want their kids hanging out with racists to choose a different school for thier children. now on another note, the school is filthy and many students here don't have good hygiene. I visted a few months ago for a parent teacher conference and i saw roaches scurrying around. Teens are left and right hitting vapes in class and using chewing tobacco some even spit it out into bottles and keep the bottles with them, teachers don't care and the students who are caught are not dealt with. This is not an environment fit for learning. Another topic id like to mention is this school has no security, the doors to most of the classrooms don't lock and there isn't a serious protocol for school shootings. my son told me when they had everyone rounded up in the gym for a drill that there was only do much they could do to secure the gym and the doors open from the outside had something actually occurred he didn't feel safe. The last thing i want to mention is that the teachers are unprofessional, many teachers act like they are your friend or something. They don't wanna discipline the kids properly and take control of a classroom because they don't wanna be uncool. I find this to be very troubling and can see why delinquency runs rampant here. Also if your child is a student here don't let them hang out at the recreation center near the school or the woods near the school because i was told thats where kids go to do drugs and also fight. Be aware of where you are sending your children.

This school does not support students in a way for them to be successful. They use social media to communicate with the student body about events and things for students. While that may seem beneficial, some students don't have the privileges to check social media or see upcoming events. When I transferred from a school in a different state, which was very advanced, I came here expecting the bare minimum and received a below average performance. I missed out on opportunities such as the Cambridge Program which would help me get college credits and guarantee a Bright Futures Scholarship. I missed out on sports because I was not sure when tryouts started and waited until the next year. Some of the teachers are great but some prioritize being friends with the students instead of teaching, which cuts into other peoples time. Underlying problems still exists within the school even with law enforcement, such as drugs throughout students, a some what judgemental and unsupportive environment. I would not recommend taking your students to this school unless your students are interested in athletic pride.

So far my experience with Hudson high school is not a good one. Some of the teachers , not all seem to not care about whether these kids get an education. If a child ask questions, they are told it's not up for discussion. Very disappointed that they seem to have no interest in the kids. What is wroughly with Pasco county teachers? I am embarrassed for you.

The teachers and staff have Great parent teacher communication to give students every opportunity to graduate. If the student don't take advantage of their offerings it is not the blame of the school.

I am a gifted student, so I could pass by, but overall this school just isn't up to par. The administration was not focused on success as much as they should've been. If you are a prospective student, do NOT take AP classes here unless they are with Vachon or Wood! Dual enrollment is the way to go! Make the most of it, try to enjoy high school. Also - if you are looking into joining the marching band here... look somewhere else.

It was terrible and im glad I transfered out administration went out of there way to put me in advance courses even though I had a low G.P.A and wouldn't let me out which caused me to struggle in school and made me fail algebra 2.Not to mention the many times students are openly bullied or racial slurs are used and the staff does nothing.

Staff I highly unprofessional and refused to help with anything and told me that I was a trouble maker and a instigator and swept my problems under the carpet and wanted to blame me

Horrible school, principal thinks he’s a football coach and that’s ALL HE CARES ABOUT and has proven football comes FIRST!!

Horrible. Save your child the heartache and avoid this school. Even with medical issues and IEPs they do less than the bare minimum. I can honestly say the horrible administration at this school cares nothing about the kids. They bully the parents, staff, and students. If I could have rated them lower than one star I wouldn't have hesitated.

The administration at this school is horrible! The administrators bully everyone: students, faculty and staff. They need to be fired and replaced.

We have 6 kids. 3 of them have already graduated from HHS and we have 3 more on their way. HHS is an outstanding school. They have many different opportunities for the students. Yes they ask for alot of family participation...but that's what makes them so great!! Any student that has the opportunity to spend their high school years here.... Should be honored!!

I believe the school will push students through just to get more funding for the next year, An 11th grade student should know how to do simple fractions, but as I was told, the teacher has NOT taught us that yet, but he got an A for the course. How does that happen? SAD WORLD WE LIVE IN WITH HHS

Absolutely wonderful so far. The JROTC program is great and students are very involved in helping out in the community. AP and Honors teachers are very engaged and care for their students. As with any High School, students must make an effort to learn and do their best. Regular classes may have students that are not as interested in learning but then again that is with all schools. Overall, a great school with a caring staff/faculty.
