Worst school ever...Principle Carnes and Vice Principle are only interested in test scores...if your child is having some difficulties don't expect improvement because they will place your child in the designated slow tables....large turn over in faculty staff due to poor management....report cards will indicate children are doing well but if you test them yourself you will find large deficiencies in rudimentary educational skills....no help from trustee either

I'm so glad we found this school. The principals and staff are so friendly and willing to do anything to help and support the students and families. They offer many programs for family involvement in a weekly basis. My kids have been the happiest they have ever been in all our school years. We drive a good distance and will keep on driving until they have to leave. Hopefully Herrera will add grades 6-8!!

My girl was in a class with a bunch of poor behaviour students, low achievers and quitters. She didn't improve because of this. The principal didn't do a thing to correct this problem. Now my girl goes to grade 5 but she lacks all the desired skills. The school is only a show when they anounce some visitors from the main office. There are many dedicated and excellent teachers that will achieve greater success if they had the support of a new and better principal and administrators.

Great school, caring staff, technology a big part of learning and the staff is always finding ways to keep the kids interested - serious about teaching and learning but also provide fun events throughout the year.
