I was only a student for one year here and my experience here was not great but not bad.

I was happy at first but after 6 years not so much. They need a lot of support and better leaders.

I would rate my experience at this school a 1. The only support we get is from her teachers.

he principal yells at students and faculty in public and within the school. Many of the students do not do homework, there is often fighting and the administration does not handle it, and there are not a lot of resources for teachers. There is no gym so when it is raining, students have to go inside and watch movies. The school chooses either Art or Music each year so students miss out on one fine art class. The upper classes focus on the STAAR test for 5 months and then students have to take at least 10 big tests throughout the year, so they are tired.

My kids have attended this school for 5 years now and I can honestly say that it is much better now that Ms. Bazan is principal. The teachers are great and go the extra mile to help their students. I'm especially impressed by Ms. Segovia who is by far one of the best teachers I have ever met; she will do whatever it takes to help her students succeed. The front office staff is great! Very efficient and polite. The only thing I do not like about Janowski is the drop off/pick up line. I think that buses should have a designated drop off and pick up area so that they do not hold up the line.
