Please save yourself the trouble, disappointment and heartache, do not let your kids go to this school. There is an Instagram account just for the fights at this school. My son was bullied, harassed and absolutely nothing was done to help my son except for when I stopped sending him to school. I stop sending my son there months ago. There is a lot of racism, and the teachers are part of it too. Horrible experience for my son.

School is trash environment is so unsafe literally their ac is broken and broken and their too broke to fix it, like this morning their ac was off and I’m literally almost getting a heat stroke I had to go outside two times. Education good though

I am looking to remove my daughter from this school as soon as possible. There's a high volume of exposure of nicotine vape use. There's thc cartridge use amongst students in bathrooms and there is a fight every single day at this school. As a mother of a 13-year-old daughter this is not somewhere I want my daughter to get an education from. She has fallen behind on her classes and they have no means to help students achieve higher goals. My daughter wakes up crying to go to this school and wants to miss because if the way students are in this school. Please administrators at Attucks Middle, TAKE CARE OF OUR CHILDREN WHILE UNDER YOUR CARE.

I was skeptical of sending my child here because of reviews that I have seen. But the teachers here care! I have witnessed teachers go above and beyond even when my child or myself as a parent may have slipped up. Teaching during quarantine has been super heard I’d imagine, but I have seen honest efforts from teachers to try their best to ensure my child’s success. Unfortunately my child won’t be back because we will be relocating and this school is obviously doing something right because my daughter has expressed how sad she is to have to go.

None of the staff member care about educating the children or their well being. You have to ask for assistance a thousand times before they get things done.

Fairly poor. I was bullied as a student here. When my parents and I told the administration, the principal said there was nothing he could do.

Aunque hay personal muy amable no estoy de acuerdo con muchas cosas de esta escuela, la seguridad de sus alumnos es importante para ellos sólo dentro del plantel, mi hijo vive a 1.9 millas de la escuela, eso por una de las 3 vías para llegar a la escuela, las otras dos vías pasan las 2 millas requeridas para servicio de bus, y hasta hoy en día no le dieron servicio de bus, y tampoco les gusta la idea de que los padres usen UBER para sus hijos, eso se llama hipocresía, paga por 2 chaquetas de la escuela y la de nylon no a llegado a esta altura del año, muy desagradable experiencia en como muchos m maestros tratan a los alumnos....

Great experience into our second year of middle school. My son's teachers have all been motivational and caring. I applaud the efforts the school has made towards the academic curriculum that offers their student the many learning opportunities they can take into the real world.

Terrible experience for me in middle school the staff were favoring certain students and I couldn't understand the teachers while they were teaching. Detentions were given in the auditorium for talking. I saw a student get a detention for no reason the student was doing what he was supposed to do sitting down without speaking. The guidance counselor was always having an attitude and purposely picking on students who dared to talk to her for guidance. All the staff are plain terrible to you making false detentions consequences for students for being students. Absolutely terrible I hope the school board can do something about the STAFF bullying students.

Attucks honestly is a great school. I'm a freshman now. My teachers were so amazing. They really do care, they seem to become friends after a while. I was in the tv production class all three years and that was my favorite class. Shoutout to my tv production class teacher! She literally was a friend to all of her students. The staff is always friendly and cool. The classes are challenging but not to the point of overwhelming. The best three years possible. Overall, attucks is an amazing school, with amazing students, and amazing staff.

Attucks Middle is located next to the railroad trucks... it is not the famous expensive neighborhood but it is the hard working family community. Attucks Middle proved high educational achievement by its Eagles - and proud to be a part of Attucks Middle family, thanks to strong educational foundation built in the school.

My school is Attucks Middle, one of the best Magnet school Broward County has. My children enjoy being at school and the report card shows how well the teachers invest in my children education. Teachers and staff at Attucks do care.

Except for my high level classes, this school's behavior is out of control. The teachers for the high school and advanced classes and the classes themselves are wonderful. However, once out of these classes, it is a dangerous school. Despite what other kids and parents have said, I have been there for 3 years. Attucks is dangerous (except in certain classes.) Stay away. It was not this bad last two years but has gotten seriously worse. Besides that, I believe I have recieved a good education here.

This year in 2013, we have a new principal, Mr. Evans. He's still getting the layout of the land, but is certainly making advancements in and around the school. He is putting forth his best efforts to keep Attucks middle school safe and secure and comfortable learning environment for all of the students. This is my last year at the school and I'm proud to say that I have enjoyed being a eagle. Just like every other middle school in the county, though, you're going to get out what you put in to your education. The advanced teachers and high school teachers in the school are well educated and have positive attitudes about the school every day when you walk in. They thrive to incorporate the available technology resources that we have into their lesson plans and curriculums, which is an added bonus that you won't find any where else in the county on a middle school level. The last and most important thing I have to say about the school is how great the administrators are. They form bonds with the children during the three year looping cycle and couldn't have a better organized school system. Don't miss out on the opportunity to send your child to this phenomenal school! -MKAZ

This my last year at Attucks and it's the best school! I am in a Honor Class(Math) and Advanced Placement classes and am enrolled in 3 High School Classes. There is a new principal, Mr. Evans, he is okay. At first, I thought he was slow, and they made a mistake of letting go of Ms. Hall (former principal) but he is still trying to get the routine of being principal. Administration is great with helping them. They do hallway sweeps and have a great security staff. There are many extracurricular activities, which include, National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) , First Priority, Math Club (Mathletes), Attucks Broadcasting Club (ABC), Sports (Track/Soccer/ Basketball), Cheerleading, Dance Club/Team, FFEA (Florida Future Educators of America), Student Council/Government. And, of course, a rigorous curriculum, making schoolwork challenging. I'm sad to leave this school but i'm proud to say I'm an EAGLE!!!
