Rude school where you feel all except welcome. As substitute teacher, not recommended.

I must say that the new principal Mr.Aguilar has done so much since entering this school so happy to have him there. He cares about the students and it shows that he is about bringing everyone together and making it known that he wants parents involved in everything that goes on. Great staff and it's not just a school it's like your entering the home where all your family come to meet.

Awesome. The staff is like family. There's always an open door policy.

I would rate this as strong school for families, and it's teachers. They care about each other, and the news students and teachers that are a part of the school. We all feel safe, and want to be a part of the school.

This school is horrible they don't care about students; my son is bullied on daily basis and I have talked to teacher, principal, and assistant principal they all say they are going to handle it but still haven't. The workers at this school are all talk and no action so never believe what they say.

My first child attended this school and is now graduating high school. It was such an family oriented school. My second child now attends this school. Our school needs a lot of work. Our teachers are great. Our administration needs to look at our children, not as the number they will produce on the FCAT, but as a whole, well rounded child. And we need to boost parent involvement on every level. It's very sad to see what is happening to this school and our children!

My daughter just started Kindergarten at Oakridge this year and she loves it. Her teacher has been great, the staff is very helpful and everyone seems to really care about the kids. Academilcally, it's not as challenging as I would like, but we supplement at home, and I'm sure the difficulty level will increase with the grades. Overall it's a great community school in a cute, safe area with caring staff and teachers.
