I absolutely love Dania Elementary, it is one of the best schools. My sons old school was failing him they helped him get back on track. He attended for 2 years going from old school level 1 in reading and level 2 in math. By 5th grade, having level 5 in science, level 3 in math, and a level 2 in reading (2 points shy of level 3). He maintained all A's and B+ (science honors) in New middle school. Sadly the new school was horrid, he got a Hope Scholarship and was able to attend a private school because of the Good grades held by hard work at Dania Elementary. I have other children that attend. The principal Dr. Jackson is by far the nicest man ever and always answers any concerns I have promptly, with kind etiquette. The teachers are top of the line amazing, they always are cheerful, listen to concerns, and genuinely care about each child's individual needs. Any issue including any other student to bullying is handled instantly with zero tolerance. I have the upmost respect for everyone at the school, office staff is amazing too. There aren't words to thank this school on the work, Olsen Middle, down the street could take some pointers and example from them for sure. I would never choose another Elementary school for my children. I wanted to say out of all the teachers to start with, my favorite is kindergarten teacher Ms. Harmer. She is a woman that doesn't just care about students but, you can see she enjoys and loves her job teaching as in it isn't just a job for her. Her teaching is a rarity hard to come by nowadays and is heavily a voice in the school with the scholastic work booklets implementation in the school. There's so much more I could add and I 100% recommend this school. They are "A" rated for a reason everything is excellent from the top down!

Poor very few great teachers in the school. Unprofessional teachers and staff and very poor principal. Due to his lack of authority over his teachers.

Hollywood hills elementary it is a great school, and wish my kids could continue attending it but due to moving, they can't and Hollywood Hills doesn't accept relocation students because they say they're overcrowded? They didn't seem so to me. So now my kids have to attend Dania Elementary and one of my kids is gifted and they say it's all mixed in with the regular students but that the teachers are "gifted endorsed". How can one teacher teach gifted students as well as regular students, wouldn't it be like trying to teach two different classes at the same time? Will a gifted student benefit from this? I'm concerned.

My granddaughter was enrolled in the gifted class. I believe that the school should not claim that they have a gifted program but rather they have teachers that are gifted endorsed. The second grade gifted teacher lacks professionalism.
