As a parent, I couldn’t be happier with our experience at SELA. Administrators, teachers, and support staff are professional, warm, empathetic, and caring. The Admissions Director runs the school incredibly well and has set the tone for creating a culture of inclusivity, compassion, generosity, and excellence. The bilingual education is outstanding, and our five-year-old has progressed in Spanish due to his wonderful teachers and thoughtful curriculum. The sense of community is amazing, and we’ve made lasting friendships with other families at the school. SELA offers diverse and engaging extracurricular activities for students, special events, and parent meet-ups. Sending our son to SELA was one of the best parenting decisions we’ve made, and he’s fortunate to have the opportunity to grow and thrive in such a welcoming environment.

My daughter has been at Su Escuela for more than 3 years and her confidence and thirst for knowledge have grown tremendously! Just the fact that she is now trilingual is amazing. The administration and faculty are incredible professional, as well as loving and caring. The passion that each teacher possesses for every child and their education is, in my opinion, beyond incredible. The education that my child is getting at Su Escuela is the best gift a parent could give to their child.

I have had the pleasure of volunteering at the summer enrichment programs at Su Escuela this year. The staff is knowledgeable, compassionate, and all around fun. The program provides different cultural activities for the students to do every day and really furthers the children’s understanding of the world around them. In addition there are plenty of fun physical activities for the children as well. The full immersion philosophy is unique to this school and is consistently applied throughout the program. One of the reasons that I reached out to inquire about volunteering was out of my interest to be part of this environment and to use and encourage others to speak Spanish. Overall it has been a joyful and inspiring experience for me this summer. I’m so glad I had this opportunity.

I have been working at Su Escuela Language Academy for several years now and could not be happier. I am proud to work for a school that provides a high quality education for its students, creates a welcoming community among its families, and rewards staff members for their hard work and dedication. The education that Su Escuela provides to its students ages 3 months Elementary school is unmatched. Each year is so special because I can see young students that attend all week begin in September only speaking English, by December speaking Spanish at home, and by April they are fluent! Even after being here for years, it still surprises me to walk into an Elementary classroom and hear students speaking Chinese, or to see 1st graders adding fractions! The quality of the teachers at Su Escuela continues to impress me. All of our teachers have at least a bachelor s degree in education, and many have their master s and a specialty certification in language, math, art, or special needs. The level of attention provided and customized lesson plans for each student is truly unique to this program. When I have children, I will not even think twice about sending them here!

As a father, I am dissatisfied with the poor organization of the school and high turnover rate of the staff. My child is happy with their classmates and one of their teachers, but this year they have had 3 English teachers. Staff does not seem happy. It's a great concept but mismanaged. We will Minot be continuing after this year.

I cannot say enough positive things about being a teacher at Su Escuela. Since 2008, I have enjoyed the opportunity to provide families with a nurturing learning environment. With small class sizes, I am able to personalize our curriculum to fit each child s needs and provide extra attention where needed.

I enjoy working at Su Escuela Language Academy teaching students Mandarin Chinese. Working with my fellow teachers from different countries enables us to provide a global education to our students. As a teacher, Su Escuela s commitment to maintain small classes (no more than 12 students) enables me to nurture each student s individual academic needs and talents.

This is our first year at Su Escuela and it has been a wonderful. My two children love attending every day and are speaking Spanish so well. I never thought they would transition to a second language so quickly at 4 and 2 years old. We recently moved to Hingham from Boston and left a school we loved there. I had very high expectations and Su Escuela most closely met those and they were also able to accomodate a full day schedule. It is a curriculum rich environment with a lot of fun activities. The teachers and staff are bright, engaged and nurturing. We are very happy with our decision to attend Su Escuela.

This is our third year at Su Escuela and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Prior to Kindergarten our daughter had no Spanish exposure and after less than two months she was communicating with no trouble and totally fluent (none of our family including us, speak Spanish). Keeping her enrolled in first and second grade has also been amazing. Not just because she is learning Spanish and Mandarin, but because the instruction in math, science, and English is remarkable. It is a wonderful environment with teachers who are genuinely interested in the welfare of each child.

The teachers and staff are incredibly warm and caring with my two toddler/pre-school age children. My daughter, who is just shy of turning two, comes home with new words and short sentences spoken in Spanish every week. My son requests to do his homework assignments as we are walking in the door after school pick up. In our third year at Su Escuela and we are very pleased with the care and education provided to our children.

Su Escuela is amazing. Our daughter is in her 3rd year there (in 1st grade) and our son just started this year in the toddler program. To say they love it is an understatement. The teachers are incredible and so nurturing. The academics are well beyond what you would get in public school, yet the children thrive in the challenging and fun environment.

We are the proud parents of Kindergarteners. I say "proud" on so many levels. We are so proud of the loving and nurturing environment this school offers our children. This environment actually changed the course of school for one of my (twin) boys. He now can't wait to go to school and learn each day - no kidding. We are thrilled beyond words. We are also proud to say that my twins - now only 2 months into Kindergarten - can read in both basic Spanish and English when they couldn't read at all before. They are LOVING math and speaking and writing Mandarin. I never thought I'd be one of "those" parents...but honestly...this school encourages the kids to reach their fullest potential on so many levels. The *confidence* these children have can not be taught elsewhere. The teachers, staff and Director of this school are leading the way in the future of education for our children.
