My child has attended this school since the 2020/2021 school year and is currently enrolled. During some of the most difficult times during a pandemic the school has always tried their best to make sure the kids get what they need. The Principal and new Assistant Principal are always willing to help or listen and communication is something they are very good at. The teachers we have experienced have been nothings short of amazing. While not everyone will have the same experiences in life, we have had nothing but a positive experience so far at Carmel.

Carmel is the most unorganized school I’ve ever dealt with. Please stay away. From their transportation to their disorganized staff, to their biased outlook that makes it impossible to address issues. I can give a million examples but won’t waste my time. All in all they claim to be a “lighthouse school of leadership” that is all a corporate positional game with no reflection on actual capability. Completely everything wrong with our public school system.

I think it is a wonderful school and love The Leader in Me Program. I think this is one of the best schools in the Hi Desert. My daughter loves the school and so do I.

My children are bullied regularly and nothing is done about it ever.my son cries because he is bullied and choked .the teachers ask the students personal information about your home life.my son had a extremly bad rash all over his body and the teacher refused to send him to the office to be checked.I do not recommend this school.

Carmel is a great place to learn, grow and play. Carmel's teachers, administrators and staff are very dedicated. I am very fortunate to be a staff member at Carmel, but more fortunate that my daughter was a Carmel Cougar. She is in middle school now and is at the top of her class, and much of that has to do with the teachers she had at Carmel. She is very well rounded and self confident. I am so glad she was in elementary school at Carmel.

I have 3 students enrolled at Carmel. Everytime I have had to contact the school for any reason, the office staff is rude and treats myself and my wife like we are beneath them. I have a college degree as well and am far from beneath them. The teachers would rather stand outside during student pick-up, and "Chat" with their friends, while holding up the line of other parents, then to speak to them at a more oppertune time. All in all the staff at Carmel is the reason I am pulling my students out of there and Homeschooling them.
