I have never in my life been so appalled by a school, the principal and overall tacky “professionals.” The principal Jill Keith should be fired as her behavior is outlandish towards the children in the school. She holds personal grudges towards kids and their families and loves to embarrass kids. She is the reason my family have pulled our child out of this school. STAY AWAY !

Excellent. No school or program is perfect and no one should expect it to be perfect. But the teachers and staff work very hard to provide the best possible education to their students. Those who participate in their child's education have seen them excel.

Horrible! Gibson has some wonderful teachers but thePrincipal does not know how to deal with autistic children. She even went so far as to threaten the child that they would not be allowed to graduate 5th grade unless he shook her hand.

The rankings and data listed on this site are old. Currently, 2018, Gibson is a 5 STAR school (out of 5) as ranked by Nevada Report Card. The teachers are highly motivated and highly effective. Parent communication is a priority but the most important fact of all: students matter. How do I know? I am a teacher at Gibson. Teachers of all grade levels run after-school clubs for FREE. Students are encouraged to be leaders through the Leader in Me program. High goals in reading are reached because students learn to set goals. Homework for all grade levels is reading. Since the school has a smaller number of students, the administration knows EVERY students' name. Kindness matters. Learning is evident.

We Love this school very much. The teachers and staff are very friendly and always willing to help as much as they can.

This is the second year that our daughter has been attending Gibson, and we just love it. The principal is so kind and the student counselor is amazing. They open every morning with a little ceremony that highlights events going on at the school and recognizing kids' birthdays and achievements. The school really works hard at making it a safe, nurturing place for kids. They emphasize caring and character development, in addition to the "3 R's." Interactions with the teachers have been positive, and they always promptly reply to questions I ask via email.
