I would not recommend this school to anyone.

As life long residents of Forney and graduates of Forney. Never have we ever considered pulling our kids from the district until we were at this school. The lack of communication, the lack of care and support and discipline is asinine. The bullying and control of that is even worse! What scares me is we are finally leaving this school, yet to find out the principal (who in 2 years we’ve NEVER seen) will be going to the newly built intermediate school we are zoned for. I hope it gets better!

We loved our son's time at Rhea! Special Education and music programs were awesome. The teachers really care about the students here.

Amazing staff and administration. The community is really bonded and has a strong relationship with the school. We couldn't ask for a better school! Rhea has the best teachers and aides, and our students are well served by their caring and dedication.

Amazing school - teachers, staff, prinicpal! The kids really excel here because education and development is the priority. I couldn't ask more of a school or of a school district! No wonder they've been awarded so many recognitions throughout the years. Rhea and FISD rock!!!!!

This is my two daughters (1st. year) at Rhea (one is in 1st. and my other is in 4th. grade) I think this is a most Excellent School with Outstanding Teachers that care. My daughter's are both in the Two-Way Dual Language Enrichment Program where they are learning Spanish. I plan on having both of my kids graduating from Forney ISD because my wife and I like it here so much. Forney A Great Town with a Great School! I have to say I went with my two daughters to our Father & Daughter Dance set up by the PTA members and this was a first for me I absolutely loved every minute of it. THX :-) for great memories forever.THX :-)

This is my daughter's 2nd year at Rhea (1st grade), and the teachers are wonderful!! My daughter is in the Two-Way Dual Language Enrichment Program where she is learning Spanish. Rhea is 1 of only 2 schools in the district that offer this program. Her teacher is continually in contact with the parents by email and always keeps parents up to date on everything going on in and out of her classroom. The parent involvement is exceptional!! Whenever I attend an event, I usually can't find a place to park. My daughter is excelling in all areas and loves going to school. The office staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and so is the administration. To this point, I have no complaints and only praise for Nell Rhea Elementary. If I was specifically asked to give my opinion on improvement, my only comment would be regarding the library. For some reason, the students are not allowed to bring home checked out library books which I assume is due to a large number of books being lost. BUT, all the student's should not be penalized. I guess I'm not vocally unhappy about this due to the fact my daughter has several book at home and ones we check out from the public library.

I find Rhea to be an excellent school. All the teachers are caring, involved, and informative. My children love going to school and are constantly on learning websites used in the classroom.
