This school is amazing! With Havelock Middle School and Tucker Creek combining their Middle schools. There’s only one choice for me. The safety, and class size is so important. I love this school, and with the STEM/STEAM Program, this school is the best in town!

Great school, excellent staff. Best impulse decision I've made, as we registered my first grader three days before school started in 2020. Catholic schools kept working and kept the needs of children their first priority during this epidemic.

I have been associated with ACS since 1973 when my Nephew was rescued from Beaufort NC public school where he was failing miserably . No one there seemed to have any interest in him. He came to ACS in Dec 73 and with extra help in every class he graduated in 1975. He has been very successful and I attribute a large part of it to the foundation and academic strength he learned at ACS. My son graduated from ACS in 1999 and his son is a rising 6th grader having begun his educational experience with K-3 . He will graduate in 2022 and it will be a joyous event.

We absolutely loved our time at Annunciation Catholic school. The principal made it a point to see the best in each student, parent, and staff member who walked through the doors. My children were challenged to be great students. They were expected to build their character and their faith day by day.

Annunciation Catholic School provides our students with a foundation in the Catholic Faith and a strong academic education. We develop active citizens who live and love as Christ did. We make the world a better place. We pray. We learn. We love.

Wonderful school that provides a strong foundation in faith and academics. Excellent faculty that hold students to a high standard of education. Sports and the Arts are also a priority. Warm and welcoming atmosphere in the school. I wouldn't want my kids anywhere else.

This school is a gem within Havelock. It is small and full of loving teachers and staff. Everyone knows everyone- it's like one big family. The older kids help with the younger kids. All the parents are really involved and welcome at the school any time. There is a wonderful art program and the current music teacher is fantastic. Students are held to high standards and challenged, but accommodations are made as needed. The new principal is super organized and greets each child by name at the door each morning during drop off! This school is more affordable than you may think- check it all- they work with all families! It has a diverse population and all are welcome. There are also summer camps that are good.

This is my daughters first year at Annunciation and I am very pleased with the school so far. We chose Annunciation because she was going to be entering the 6th grade and the charter school she attended in Beaufort only had grades K-5. She was nervous about the new school but made friends right away. She comes home everyday excited to tell me what she is learning about because she enjoys school. Both I and my daughter have nothing but good things to say about the principal, who is also the religion class instructor. The Principal is heavily involved and encourages parent involvement in the school and the Pastor is at every school event I have attended. We are very pleased with all aspects of Annunciation and plan on sending our son next year when he is in 6th grade.

No school is all good or all bad. The best hope for a school is that your child will be prepared for their life that is ahead. Unfortunately my child is preparing for summer school as test scores show deep deficits. Too bad that with a new building the administration didnt allow for new academic standards. Principal is unprofessional and does not display those characteristics long expected from professional catholic educators. Really sad...................Teacher quality depends on which year your kid is in. 7th grade english teacher is a treasure along with the art teacher.

It saddens me to be compelled to write this. However, I must. I would not wish this school's poor academics, lack of leadership, their entitlement, their greed, their political favoritism, their complete lack of respect or understanding of faith let alone the Catholic faith on my worst enemy. If you want to to ensure you are throwing your money & your child's future down the drain, send your children here. This school has a ton of fluff, lots of words, zero follow through. The number of invested families who have left this school in the past two years should have been my clue. Don't let the Catholic guilt steer you in the wrong direction. Don't let the wool be pulled over your eyes. Please, for your sake, run away from here.
