My girls have attended EMS since kindergarten and it has been an excellent experience. They were allowed to explore learning in a way that empowered their curiosity. They were encouraged to explore art, music, drama, and have grown into wonderful young women. The faculty and staff know my girls and help mentor them through actions and words.

EMS has been a wonderful place for my two children (one graduated and one in high school). As a non-Mennonite family, we have always been welcomed by the school community (parents, students, administration, and teachers). The school strives to meet each each student where they are and provide a true learning environment. My graduate has been well-prepared for college and EMS was able to keep the learning environment challenging to meet our needs through elementary, middle, and high school.

I don’t think I can explain how bad the school is, and how bad some of the teachers are here, it’s insane how much they target “different” students not to mention the students are bad influences, and mean to other students. Not a good environment. Not worth it.

Attending this school for six years (until graduation) has helped me to realize one thing: this school is NOT a true Christian school. Substance abuse issues are just as bad at EMS as they are at public schools. It is truly infuriating that the faculty push only leftist ideas upon students. Going to this school and being a conservative simultaneously is a HORRIBLE idea. Liberal doctrine is the ONLY accepted mindset. Pro-choice activists do not belong in a Christian school faculty. Although I graduated last year, many who are still at the school (with similar mindsets as my own) say that it is getting far worse. I would never send my own children here.

My students have excelled at EMS and we have been members of this school community since 2008. We have experienced all three school divisions from the elementary through high school. Teachers really care and know my children, and they create safe spaces in their classrooms for all to be respected. Learning is deep here, discussion and critical thinking are encouraged. My oldest transitioned to college a few years ago very prepared for rigorous work and very certain of her gifts.

This school is very unfriendly if you are not mennonite. Actually it is controlled by a few families. The admistrative turned away from the problem and swipe anything under carpet pretending it never happened.

I attended EMS during the school year of 2014-2015 for seventh grade. Upon my visit of the school before my year of attendance I was given false information about the student expectations. The teachers were absolutely certain that there were no cliques, gossip, ect. Not only were false rumors spread about me on my visit but I got dirty looks from the students.

This school takes every opportunity to educate, integrate and embrace its student population. Kids are learning how to contribute to society and how to treat others. Five stars !

EMS couples faith and academics in a rigorous environment. Faculty are caring people who see students as individuals with potential to make unique contributions to our world.
