Even though this school gets a low rating for test scores and other reasons, it is not for lack of the staff's effort. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

We have been nothing short of thrilled that our children attend such a wonderful school. The teachers are excellent and the administrative staff is constantly striving for excellence. This school benefits from strong community involvement, an active PTA and parents who care about their kids.

So sad to find out this past school year about the poor leadership of the administration. Despite multiple claims of harrassment of teachers that creates a stifling and intimidating workplace, the current school board refused parents' and teachers' many requests for an independent third party review. Although the teachers are excellent, the school has lost about one third of its teachers and staff in the past three years, including two vice principals during that time.

I have 2 daughters attending MVES and they have both had great experiences. Most of the teachers are outstanding. We're very pleased with the education the girls are receiving there.

My daughter has transferred to Mountain View Elementary from a local private school. Although she is not as academically challenged as she was in private school, the school is much more than we had hoped for. Her teacher is wonderful and she loves school. The after school program staff are outstanding and very caring to the children. You cannot go wrong with Mountain View Elementary.

its small school with big ideas. I love the dedicated teachers, the wonderful staff and the leadership of the principle. When we had a sick student with lukemia, the whole school started a fund raising for his parents.(art teacher drew a scene from the school then we printed out the drawing on post cards and sold them to parents(we raised $4000 for the parents of the sick child)

I have had two girls go through Mountain View and have found the teachers to be great. We have had two sets of principals and vice principals. Both sets have done things a little differently, but have been great with the kids and for our school. MVES staff are available to parents and children. Music, Art, Challenge, Computer Lab, Library and PE are great too. I have been on the PTA for the past 5 years and find the members to be child focused. Even the cafeteria gets good ratings from my girls. My daughter that goes there now loves the pizza and the Salisbury Steak served in the cafeteria. MVES is a great school.

MVES teachers and staff are friendly and helpful. The teachers are dedicated and our children benefit from their commitment to our children's learning process. We feel it's a safe and healthy environment for our children. MVES is a great school!

I have four children who have all greatly enjoyed their teachers and have received a quality elementary education at Mountain View. The faculty and staff at MVES truly care about the children and their best interests.
