I am so thankful for the opportunities Southwest Local School District has provided to our children. I have watched my children learn and grow both socially and academically in so many ways through academic programs, fine arts, athletics and numerous other extracurricular experiences. They have made lifelong friendships and memories. I am confident that they are ready for college and beyond. Thank you, Southwest!

There are multiple avenues for study, extra curricular activities and parent organizations in this school district. Every year more is added. My daughters had so many options, opportunities and support over the past 23 years. The staff really cares about the quality of education, balance, student and parent participation and mental health. We are fortunate to have this in our area .

Harrison High School has provided our children with great educations and career options. Our son is graduating after staying at Harrison High School for his junior and senior year and completing the Advanced Manufacturing program, a program that is typically only available at career-tech centers. We were so glad to see the options he had at his high school instead of needing to go to a different school for this type of education. He had a great internship opportunity that the school was instrumental in connecting him with and is now graduating with a full time job offer in the manufacturing field. His success speaks volumes to the staff at Harrison High School seeing his strengths and supporting him through the program offerings.

Iam wondering how you go about gettig to the High school,since they have no bus service , Hoven ,Ohio

I think this school is one of the better ones in our tri-state area. Most other schools are don't have what Harrison offers. and that would be a good education. most other schools are too busy messing with deliquients or worry about the money problem. At Harrison, they do all that stuff , but they keep the kids education a top priority. Just this year they've added more classes than cut them because they were looking out for us. Some of those new classes are JR. ROTC, Principles of Biomedical Sciences, Human Body Systems, Astrology, and others. I"m telling you they are looking out for us.
