As an involved family with multiple young children attending this school, our experience thus far has been excellent. The teachers and staff truly care about their students, and they have consistently gone above and beyond their "job description" to provide a positive learning environment for our children. Safety is a priority. There are many options for after-school extracurricular activities for all ages to keep even the youngest students involved in something fun.We have found staff to be very approachable with any matter or concern, and we appreciate the fact that the school recognizes and attempts to meet the unique academic needs of each of our children on a regular basis. We would definitely recommend Harrison Elementary to anyone considering this school district.

Harrison Elementary is a great school with a caring and supportive staff! The administration cares about families and students and take the necessary steps to make sure school is a fun and safe environment. The inclusion of parents and support and involvement from them helps make the school complete. We are very happy with Harrison Elementary.

My child attends Harrison Elementary and the excitement that he has for school and leaning is due to the amazing teachers, staff and community support to see every child succeed. I started subbing in the building to get a first hand experience and couldn’t be more proud of the love and support students feel while at school. Thank you to the administration, office, kitchen staff, teachers, teacher support, and all those who volunteer to make this school great.

Great school, teachers who genuinely care about their students. Please don't take my word for it, go in and volunteer. It will be a great rewarding experience for you. I can type many words about how great this school is, but that is just my opinion, please go in and base your own. Anyone who does that, I am confident you too, will give a great review.

I love this school. The teachers are established and are always there if you need them. My son as been on the honor roll for 4 years now and it is all because of the teachers. I have 3 kids at the school 1 has 19 kids in his class, one has 22 and one has 24. Every time I go in to school to work in a class or drop something off there are parents working with teachers. I love being involved and the teachers love it.

I moved to Harrison for 6 months. In that amount of time, my son's grades dropped drastically, he had been working on the exact same materail for way too long, and had behavior problems you would not believe. After moving him back, everything improved 100%. I will never take him back there, the disgusting language and behaviors he picked up there in just 6 months has changed his charachter completely. The class sizes are too big, not allowing adequate time for student/teacher interaction, and a member of the office staff that has the most interaction with parents is arrogant and rude.
