Teachers and staff are supportive and loving. My kindergartner has learned so much in one year, had homework every night and brings home wonderful projects and assignments that shows his teacher's devotion to teaching.

Everyone from the custodians to the principal are great, they make your child and yourself feel like family. This is experience is so important since its the time when the kids are being molded to have great study habits so they can be successful in the future.

My son has had a great teacher in each of his four years at Fairmount. The principal and assistant principal are professional and truly dedicated to the well-being of the students. The instrumental music program provides all students with an instrument at no additional cost. Great school.

This is a good school because it provides my child with a solid education. He comes come telling my about something new he has learned everyday. the only reason I didn't rate it great is because I want the school day to be longer I don't believe 8:30 am to 2:50 pm is long enough the should be there until at least 3:30 pm of come in at 8 am.

Wonderful school! My daughter had Mrs.Bentley this year. She is amazing. I wish I could bring her home with me :) she was just the right teacher to give my daughter that push that she needed. Our communication was easy. Staff is wonderful. School is clean. If I ever had any concern or questions they would always adress it in an instant.

This will be another wonderful year at Fairmount! My son has just finished second grade and had Ms.Noel as his teacher.. She has made tremendous progress with his learning. Her ability to connect with her student's and her talent in teaching, has been seen through my son's academic and social progress. I could have not asked for more caring and passionate teacher. Looking forward for another wonderful year at Fairomunt

This school is horrible!!!! Sending my child here was the worst thing I could have ever done. The kids are so disrespectfull and the teachers let them run wild. The school is filty it smells like urine when you walk in by the lunch room and there is litter on the floors in the stairways. The children even write curse words on the bathroom walls. The concerts are so un-organized and the children are realesed at the end of the day to anyone. They do not seperate speacial needs kids from regular students which causes problems. Also the after school program is a bunch of teenagers who could careless about the kids and dont even watch them. I would not recommend this school for anyone. I feel bad for the home owners in this area who have no choice but to send there children here.

My son has been a student at Fairmount since Kindergarten and is now in 4th grade. The PTA is very involved and promotes student/family activities. There is amble opportunity for your child to partake in band, music, dance or drama clubs, which all culmminate in shows for student assemblies and parental after school concerts. My biggest concern however is the discipline procedures. when students are sent to the office for infractions that, at times warrant an apology or detention, suspension notices are written up and students "interrogated" without parental contact. The principal is a very personable and likable man, and has an open door policy. I believe that more males need to be present as there are too many female staff members. Academically Fairmount prepares the students well. The teachers use varying teaching strategies to educate the students. My son was appropriately challenged and pushed academically to achieve above the status quo. The nurturing and charter building staff members provide was of great help. There is a strong sense of family and community involvement here. Overall I find my son's experience to be more up than down. Def. a good starting point.

The Principal, Vice Principal and Teachers are extremely hard working and completely devoted to the children. The Principal is honest passionate about allowing the children to have well-rounded educations there, not just Test-Taking educations. My kids have shown tremendous growth in their time there and love the learning atmosphere as well as the extra curricular activities. I can't imagine my kids being any where else!

I am a proud Fairmount School parent. My 3 children attended Fairmount. They are well rounded individuals who not only received an excellent education but left there with a strong sense of community and pride. My family is a stronger family thanks to the lessons we have all taken away from Fairmount School.
