Great teachers that care and help all children thrive. The PTA keeps you ( the parent) very informed, the new Principle has brought a nice change within the school environment.

This school has not improved in 10 years. In fact it's gotten progressively worse. My son attended for 5th grade this year, and while he excelled the environment is poor. He tells me about fights and other issues on a weekly basis. When I called because he was late coming out after school and we didn't know where he was (due to staying with a teacher to complete an assignment) the attitude of the assistant principal was very nonchalant, like he didn't care if we found him or not. As a parent you will stand at the counter while people do absolutely everything but help you, including joking and personal phone calls. My son is always telling me about fights - not exactly the best environment for learning. Now they have police who will patrol. Wow. It seems as if they have given up. I will say that there are some good teachers here that seem to be trying, but the administration is failing the students and staff big time. I believe the State of NJ lists this site as a "failing" school and I see why. My son will not attend in September 2015. I'd rather spend every dime I can manage to get him out of this school. If you have a choice do not send your child here.

Uncaring school staff. Hate every second of it. This is an example of what is wrong with public school. NOT RECOMMENDED
