Baldwin Heights is a school with a lot of energy. Students have many opportunities available to them: Club 821, Odyssey of the Mind, guitar and piano lessons, Sewing Club, Grandparents Day, Family Night: Engineering, Great Write, Math. The school does a great job working with the Community Center to offer activities in recreation, art and acting. Fifth grader recently participated in a mini-Art Prize where they submitted an art entry, artist biography and written interpretation of their art. I am very impressed with the choices students have at the elementary level. As a parent, it is reassuring to know when they are in writing class, they are a writer. Or-when they are with their math teacher, they are immersed in quality math instruction. This is a great school!

Baldwin Heights is an amazing school. The staff is supportive and are really there for the students. The principal is very involved and the PTO is outstanding! It's nice to be a part of this school and community.

As a new parent to Baldwin Heights this year I have to say that I am VERY impressed with the excellent teachers and strong leadership. The school truly is on the cutting edge of technology and preparing my child for the future. The staff have obviously worked very hard to create a positive culture where ALL children feel safe. I could not be more pleased with Baldwin Heights and all it has done for our son.

Baldwin Heights is an incredible place to work. As a staff member here, I see the efforts of our parents and students every day. We ALL work together as a team for the benefit of each student who walks through those doors. We truly are a school family.

I only have 1 word to describe Baldwin Heights - EXCELLENCE. They make it a priority in everything they do. The teachers, principal, secretaries, lunch aids, right down to the custodian. They take pride in themselves and in their building. It is truly a family atmosphere and we couldn't be happier with the quality of our child's education.
