My kids havebeen attending Reedy Fork for two years. I am not sure how it was before then but I can attest to the fact that it is a school of failure. Each year they do not meet their AYP Goals. The children are not being taught accordingly to the guidlined curriculm. For whatever thier reasons they do not have a good grip on what it takes to run a school corectly and get out of this Title 1 School statue. Does being a Title 1 school really matter? YES! It really does. I am surprised by the standards placed in front of my children and wonder why are they not being challenged more. They school system that they were in prior to this district reached for more therefore they attained and achieved more. I wonder why my fourth grader comes home with work she did in 1st grade and my 1st grader comes home with work that they did in Pre-K. Lowered standards equals low results. I really hope that this Common Core Cirriculum will make the difference this year. I also hope that the school learns better communication skills. As parents we should be able to freely attend our childrens classrooms to monitor and no to be discouraged from doing this by teachers needs.

We love Reedy Fork Elementary, the teachers are great, the Aces Program is awesome and the principle is the best in the state, she knows all the childrens names by heart. Wonderful principle and great school! The only bad thing is you have to attend Northeast Middle and High after you attend this school and that's not so great.

Our daughter was only at Reedy Fork Elem. for 32 days and she still talks about how great her 1st kinderarten was. She will soon start 2nd grade in her 4th school. I am waiting for a school, (public or on a militay post), to meet up to my expectations of Reedy Fork. The teachers and principal are outstanding. The school is run very well and our daughter still speaks about how great her kindegarten time was. I really enjoyed the involvement and care of the staff. We miss the school, community and our neighbors. Sincerely, J.P.
