Over all a 0 out of 10. It was a cringing experience and I feel for any kid there being bullied as ours

What a great little school in the suburbs. Such a happy, calm atmosphere. Wonderful diversity.

This school is a terrible school! The staff is rude and they don't communicate well with the parents. Teachers yell at their students and I've seen it during lunch. Students should not be yelled at because they dropped a piece of food! They don't listen to what the parents concerns are. they made helping out look like its somthign the school would want you to do, but when you get there to volunteer they have a issue about it. They will not let you visit your child! WHAT! they are also Very rude if you have a question. My children will not be going to this school much longer! I want a place where I can not worry because I know they are in good hands and in that school, well, I just don't feel like my children are in the best hands. This is an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NOT A PRISON!!!

My school is an amazing school. We have caring teachers and staff. Our school is like a little family. We all love each other and we all try to help all the children strive to do better in school. I am a volunteer at Madison and I love it. I love helping the children to learn to read. If you can read you can do anything that you want to do as far as learning all you want to learn.

My opinion has changed completely since Feb/2011. With the change in principals this year, Madison is a completely different atmosphere for everyone! Students, parents and staff all seem happier and more involved. Students are being held accountable for their behavior and praised for their accomplishments, it's absolutely wonderful!!! There is accountability, goals, praise, communication, encouragement, smiling, and a presence of strong leadership. She had a hard job and has gone beyond meeting the challenge!

My daughter, now in high school, had a great experience at Madison. My son is currently at Madison and there's been alot of changes in the years between my daughter and son. The current principal has very poor people and leadership skills. I've had no problems with the teachers. Keeping in mind the poor leadership they have, I think they're doing all they can! Part of the reason for low parent participation is the principal!

I have 2 kids currently attending Madison Elementary, this is their first year at this school and I am not at all pleased with the school, principal, or teachers. Poor communication to parents, rude manner of speaking with the kids and parents. Kids do not need to be embarrased in front of other kids because of a mistake made or they need assistance on a question, situation, or subject.
