Great School, teachers, and environment. If you want to send your students to a place where they will be known by their teachers and taught well with a Biblical worldview Granger is a great school.

Just wow. these teachers lie to you about what level of knowledge they put in your children's minds. Please find a better christian school. For the amount your paying you can find much better schools then this place.

I would say GCS is not a very good school it lacks in education and I am very dissatisfied on how principles keep coming and going and the teachers overreact over the most littlest things ever and always put the blame on another student over an incident. And lack in diversity and there respect towards students. The teachers overreact and make something small to something big and it’s not very helpful during things like classes and chapel. My student will not be attending next year due to the lack of education and borderline disrespect the teachers give them. One of the teachers also made a remark joke about a gun being in a jacket which everyone already knows about the school shootings and therefore that shouldn’t be something to joke about which is another reason why the teachers don’t know where there respect is for other. So I will giving this school a 1 star rating I would give two but I don’t think it deserves that.

This school that is great and growing in so many ways (just added a technology teacher). Both my kids were homeschooled until High School age, GCS was very helpful in bringing them into the school community. Can't say enough about the teachers, I know they have prayed with and advised my kids as they have advanced through high school. Academics and spiritual development go hand in hand. Price is reasonable for private Christian school and there is a vary diverse mix of church backgrounds. It has been a great experience for my kids.

This school strives to be biblically based in every subject and area. It is a small school, with limited resources, so they cannot be excellent in all areas. But they seem to do their best to support and empower the kids enrolled. There are currently exciting changes happening, and we feel confident with the current leadership, despite some trouble with past leaders. I have students in both elementary and secondary, and while secondary doesn't currently have many honors type classes, they are still much more challenging and engaging that we found in public school. The elementary program is one of the strongest I've seen, and we recommend it highly for anyone a little nervous about sending your kid to kindergarten.

I have had children at GCS for many years and have seen many principals come and go. The teachers keep the school afloat, and there are some excellent teachers at GCS. The teachers love the Lord and the environment is overall positive and caring. This is the first year that I am considering sending my children elsewhere and also the first year that I have felt dissatisfied enough with the education at GCS to write a negative review. Academics do not seem to be valued at GCS anymore. Some teachers rely heavily on the Internet to teach their classes. This includes assignments and tests taken straight from the Internet (often with errors and with questions the students are unable to answer because they have not been taught the subject matter, particularly in English classes), TV watching in class, the use of YouTube to teach math, and excessive, unmonitored use of chrome books for "educational" apps. My high achieving elementary student is given extra time to do as she pleases on her chrome book instead of being challenged. She spends hours each day playing games, browsing the Internet, and sending me emails from her school chrome book. Despite all of this chrome book use, we are currently being asked to participate in a fundraiser for a new "tech" program to give the elementary students 3D printers and robotics. That would be fine if academic fundamentals were strong, but they are not. That would also be fine if there were any electives offered for high school students other than Yearbook and Art, but there are not. If you are looking for strong academics and opportunities for your middle/high schoolers, GCS would not be a good choice; however, If you are able to supplement your children's education and you want them in a Christian environment, GCS is for you.

Very homophobic 0/10. Send your children here if you want them to feel ashamed about their identity. If you want them to have to hide who they truly are to not face reprimands of the school. My child came home this Wednesday and told me how the principal spoke about how people who are gay or trans are living a lie. And that no one should be friends with a person living such a lie. He also said that the principal was sexist, talking about how women were only made for childbirth and men were made to be protectors of the house and work. He also insulted women by saying that if they are to have any facial hair then they are ugly. Knowing as some women have genetic disorders I think this was very inappropriate for someone in charge of a school to say. My child then proceeded to let me know that they started calling students down to question them whether or not they are gay based on other students' accusations. I think this should be addressed immediately.

I would say this is an okay school but teachers just give out assignments that is usually just state required. Another thing is that they don't support students with learning differences if you would try and look at each classroom you will found no person with learning differences. There used to be somebody with learning differences but they kicked them out which I still dont know why. This is my review.

I definitely would have given this school 2 stars before I tried a public school. After trying a public school, I noticed that the atmosphere was so negative and it was pulling me away from the Lord. I went back to GCS mid-year and I hadn't been happier. We had a new principal and new teachers who made it feel like a breathe of fresh air, even though I had already gone there. The school is amazing and it's a positive environment, but it all depends on your attitude towards things like the dress code, or the rules, because if you have a crappy attitude, you might disagree.

In response to the previous review, I am a student of GCS and have been since Kindergarden and will continue to go to this school until Graduation. I have been to this school long enough to see many people come and go. Some that have come from public schools that were in my grade were behind academically many years. The teachers here have been great in helping me and other students do there best throughout the years. I'm sad to here that you think that this school made you stray from your beliefs, but please think on it and revise whether it was truly the school that caused you to stray. Everyone is going to go through ugliness and bad experiences in their life, and that doesnt mean that we should duck and hide from God at the first sign of trouble. My parents have been at the verge of divorce for many years now and they call themselves Christian, but I'm not straying from my beliefs. I'm not saying that you have to have your child comet to this school, you are allowed to make your choices. This school, its teachers, and the student body have all continuously encouraged me to grow in my relationship with God. Yes, we are taught not to judge others, but as God gave us the Ten Commandments, no one is perfect and no one can be trusted to follow any of His teachings perfectly. I'm truly sorry that you have strayed from God and hope that you will find his voice again because no matter what He will always love you.

I attended GCS K-8 grade. My sister (7 years older than me) also attended, and was expelled. After her expulsion, I was treated much differently. It was as if the administrators were just waiting for me to make mistakes like my sister did. In addition, it felt like you received special treatment if you AND your family were actively involved in the school and church. Those of us who weren't lucky enough to have parents involved, were left on the back burner. I am now researching schools for my daughter, and I continue to see GCS pop up with wonderful reviews and 5 stars, and it blows my mind. I transferred to Penn High School my freshman year. I was expected to do things at PHM that GCS NEVER taught me academically. I will NEVER send my child there, though I wonder if they would even accept her, since she is a part of my family. Sadly my experience with this school is what made me stray from my christian beliefs. As Christians, we are taught NOT to judge and the administrators and teachers at this school cannot be trusted to follow such teachings.
