Covenant Christian School is one of the best Christian schools in our area. They offer both an English program and Spanish Immersion program for preschool through 8th grade.Founded in 1995 the school has kept God at the center and educational excellence hand in hand. The school has grown so much that in 2022 the school bought and renovated the building next door into a gym.As a substitute teacher it is my favorite place to work. The students are so sweet and respectful and the staff works together as if they are family.The Spirit of the Lord is always here.As a parent- I love learning Spanish with my daughter. She speaks SO well and understands Spanish in conversation and in reading that I am amazed at her progress after only 2 years [started in preschool]. My daughter will will have endless career and life choices being 100% fluent in both English and Spanish some day.I also love that our school protects kids from being influenced into anti-God ideaology. Prayer, Bible, and Christian living will be deeply rooted in my kids so when life gets hard - they know WHO to turn to every day.Don't let tuition scare you away from private education. Covenant Christian School is a parent-led school full of teachers and staff who love our kids as their own. It has been a home away from home for our four children over the past several years. We are grateful to send our children to a school that challenges them academically, provides a Christ-centered education, and promotes a traditional Christian lifestyle. Our children have attended both the English and Spanish immersion programs and they have both served our individual children with excellence. As a family that receives the Indiana School Choice voucher it has also been affordable. The teachers clearly enjoy the students, their colleagues, and the school’s administration. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to participate in day-to-day activities as well as the many fun and fellowship events. Our kids have enjoyed clubs such as spanish club, dance club, and sports at Covenant. In addition to Chapel each week they enjoy music, art, and physical education classes. The Covenant Christian School families exhibit the Christian life by participating in various service projects organized by the school. Great things are happening at Covenant Christian School and we are so happy to be a part of it.

From the amazing administrator down to the wonderful teaching staff, Covenant Christian is a hidden gem in Michiana. My children love to go to school everyday, and have made life-long friendships. It feels more like a family, than just a school. The academics are top-notch, and the students feel the love of Christ everyday. Highly recommend!

Our family can't say enough about Covenant Christian. The teachers are highly professional and give our children the time and attention they deserve. We have seen huge academic growth since enrolling.

This school is fantastic. We LOVE the Spanish immersion program. Our kids are speaking, writing, and reading Spanish fluently despite having no Spanish-speaking parents. The teachers and staff are so helpful and kind. This is a really special place.

I can't say enough great things about this school. The class sizes are fantastic, the teachers and staff are so enthusiastic, and the kids themselves are excited about learning and happy to be there. The immersion program really helps students not just learn another language, but helps broaden their cultural horizons as well and learn about other parts of the world. I can't recommend this school highly enough.

I would not recommend this cool to anyone. Their Christian values are lacking. The small class sizes are deceiving. The school has little desire to help any child that needs one-on-one attention.

Covenant Christian has made all the difference for my 8 year old. This is her first year at the school and entered the third grade in August. My daughter's grown intellectually, spiritually and mostly in maturity and responsibility. She has been lead by a great teacher who influences and guides the children gently, but persuasively. My daughter enjoys school everyday. She loves being a "guide" to the younger children on the playground, but also enjoys the diversity of being guided by the older students as well. As a parent, I particularly like that the teacher, principal, staff all hold the children accountable. There is a great sense of community in their small school. Everyone watches out for each other. It has been a great experience so far and we will be enrolling our 4 year old into the pre-school program starting in the Fall of 2014.

I have 3 children at CCS and we are starting our fourth year here. The community is amazing. The faculty are caring and compassionate with emotional and educational issues that may crop up. Mrs. Foldesi is the most amazing teacher at that school, hands down. If you have a chance for your child to be in her classroom expect an amazing experience! She modifies curriculum and expectations based on students ability as to not overwhelm them but challenge them at the same time. She is an excellent teacher. The only reason I gave this 4/5 stars is because I have consistently been unimpressed with the communication at the 6-8 grade level. Even with the new EdModo program started in the 2011 school year, only one teacher consistently used it. Also, the school is small enough that if a child is habitually not turning in homework it shouldn't take much to write a note or email to notify a parent. I shouldn't have to wait until I see 0's on EdModo (for assignments I never knew existed because they weren't listed) or until report cards come out. Great school and I am so glad I found it! Would only wish the Jr. High communication was better with teachers contacting parents.

I see among the other reviews one from two years ago where a parent offered the insight that the middle school grades, 6-8th, are so small they felt their pre-teens didn't have enough choices to do advanced work (if capable) or be involved in extracurriculars that they might at a larger school. Just let me say that area has been one we've worked on in these two years. Track & field and basketball (boys and girls) are now offered. The advanced work opportunities, for honors courses for example, is kind of an interesting thing. The level of work required of, and excelled at, by the entire class is such that their normal classes are the equivalent of "honors courses" at other schools. If kids require even more, why, I'd consider enrolling my middle schooler in a college level course!

Our daughter is in the Spanish immersion program and is thriving. It is amazing to see her becoming bilingual. We wish the program was around when our son was in kindergarten.
